It feels silly to pa so much for a comb (esp what it costs here in India), but you won’t buy it unless you want a piece of history - these guys are the brush makers for the English regency since the 18th century.As for the comb, it’s excellent, surpassing every other comb I’ve used. Mind you, the Indian brands Roots and Vega are also hand made from cellulose acetate, and excellent value for money if you are looking for anything behind plastic combs. But Kent combs are in a different class, and you realise as you hold them. Even the translucence is so much more. The combs have good bite, without scratching your scalp. Roots used to be good too, but recently I’ve found their quality wavering, couple of the recent ones I bought here were too smooth to comb well.I hope the Kent are as well made as they are made out to be and last long without losing their combing property or teeth. This particular model is for short-medium men’s hair. For longer or women’s hair, look at other combs in their lineup.
