Q: Will this pad disintegrate over time? My last one, not one from this company, literally turned to a green sand.

I have had that happen with cheap rubber. I’ve had this pad only a few months and it seems to be mostly felt. I anticipate that this will last a long time.

Q: Ive got 2: my rug is 7'10" x 10' 2". whats the best size. when i vacuum, the rug pulls up. will the felt/rubber allow vac to operate correctly?

I would buy the 8 x 10 (true to size) rug pad. You want the pad to be a little bit smaller to fit properly. You would probably want to trim the pad to 7’8” x 10’. I have these rug pads and they work very well and I vacuum with no problem.

As far as I know the return policy from Amazon is very good. They are always willing to work with their customers. I have returned a couple of things with no problem and very fast monitory return to my bank

Q: Can this work well in a kitchen even if moving fast? How is it w food spills etc? How is the grip to the floor, we have tile? Ty!

I bought this for my son who has a wood floor and it grips that so I think it would be okay on tile floors too. I don’t know about the other questions you asked though sorry
