AZ4 Angle Guides Combo, Blue for Sharpening Stones, Orange for Rods

I had been trying to sharpen my knives freehand for several months, but I found it difficult to judge the correct angle both on whetstones and steels. What I thought was a 15° angle was actually far shallower than with the guides, making it a lot more difficult on myself.I suggest getting these at least as an introductory piece of equipment when you're starting out with sharpening because they do help.

Works as intended

Bought these to help me keep my newly purchased Japanese steel knives in tip-top condition. They are really useful and give me the confidence to hone my knives regularly.
