Yes, you can wash it by following the washing instructions Hand wash only. Hand wash in cool water with mild soap. Remove excess water and air dry away from heat. Don't iron.

Q: How do you get it on. Pull it on or is there a fastener?

the hip/waist velcros at the front just like a normal hip brace with the two side straps that you use to tighten. The upper straps go over your shoulders, under your arms, crosses over at the back and then velcros at the front waist. This pulls your shoulders back. It looks complicated but it makes sense once you've done it.
