Don't ask me how this works because I really don't get it, the only thing I do know is that it made an amazing gift for my grandfather. He loves math and is very familiar with the fibonacci sequence so he knows how to tell time on this and he loves it. It's great decor for his office and he loves looking at it. If you are or know anyone who thinks math is cool, this is something to get.

Whaw!!!! What an interesting piece. One of the most interesting items in my house. Definitely a conversation starter. Brings wonderful balance to more vintage interior. Great pop of color for the room if you need it.

The screen of a Fibonacci Clock is made up of five squares whose side lengths match the first five Fibonacci numbers: 1, 1, 2, 3, and 5. The hours are displayed using red and the minutes using green. When a square is used to display both the hours and minutes, it turns blue. White squares are ignored. This clock would be great if it looked like it does online, but when plugged in, the front lights are blurry. I have a similar clock, and it has more features and is not blurry. For the cost of this clock, it should display crisp lighting.

The concept behind this clock and the modern, stylish design seemed cool and something my brainy husband would enjoy. But it has some major design flaws.What works:-Easy to setup/sync the time with bluetooth-There's a voice button on the back if you want to simply "hear" what time it is-Adjustable brightness-Changing color display (which is good, but only if it had a static mode*)What DOESN'T work:-The changing color display* is the only option. You cannot set which color block sequence you want. So it constantly changes the color sequence which is annoying and doesn't allow the user to set the colors they prefer in a permanent static mode.-And the number one issue that makes this clock unusable.... HORRIBLE DISPLAY FIDELITY. The display face is blurry/fuzzy. (See pics) The brand, Fibonax, that makes this clock and other versions of it, has photos on the box and on their listings that show a clear, crisp image but this clock absolutely does not have that saturation and fidelity. It's not pleasant to look at because it just looks out-of-focus or that anyone looking at it needs glasses. When I dug a little deeper in the Fibonax website, there are some real photos that show the blurry clock face, as well as other reviewers photos, so this seems to be an issue with all of their clocks, not just the one I got.-As of December 2024, the clock is listed at $60. Not worth the money for the quality of the light face. But even if it was $20 or $10, I wouldn't use it because of the awful display.I really, really wanted to like this clock. It's so disappointing that I can't use it because it's such a cool concept, but it was so poorly designed. Not recommended.

Quite a conversation piece. Put this on the table and ask people to tell time, then teach them how. You will love it.

I will firstly admit I have no idea how to read this clock or even if I set it up correctly, but it looks super cool and is a great little light with changing colors. When I have more time I plan to sit down and figure it out, but that will probably be after the kids move out or get old enough to figure it out and tell me how it works, lol. It is pretty sturdy and is a good size as a conversation piece. I think it is a cute item and would make a great gift for the right person that likes math and unusual items.

I got this clock as a gift for a friend who loves math stuff like this, and he loved it! It’s like a complex puzzle that gives a rewarding feeling once you finally figure it out. In terms of functionality, it’s not great for actual clock usage because it’s so hard to tell the time, but it’s very fun to try and solve.
