Massive cushioning meets surprising agility — perfect for long runs and high-mileage days
The SC Trainer v3 has quickly become my go-to for long runs and high-volume training. The FuelCell midsole paired with the Energy Arc plate delivers an ultra-cushioned, yet responsive ride that feels smooth and efficient mile after mile.Despite the high stack, the shoe doesn’t feel unstable or clunky. On the contrary — it rolls beautifully and actually feels lighter than it looks. I’ve used them for long runs, progression runs, and even some steady tempos, and they handle all of that with ease.Fit is true to size, and the upper is soft, breathable, and secure without being overbuilt. One thing I really appreciate is that you get the feel of a super shoe but with daily durability — ideal for those who want plated performance without burning through race-day shoes in training. If you want comfort, bounce, and protection for long efforts, this is a top-tier trainer.____Los SC Trainer v3 se han convertido en mis favoritos para fondos largos y entrenamientos de alto kilometraje.

Great trainer
I have finally settled on a daily trainer. This shoe has a good balance of weight and comfort.I did my long run on Sunday and changed shoes in the middle to compare the New Balance vs the Brooks Glycerin. The Brooks are comfortable but are definitely less responsive on my push off.The carbon-plated race version, the NB V5 Elite is a fine shoe, and many people are using them for triathlon. Great if you have a mid foot strike. Nike’s (Alpha Fly) force me personally to fore-foot strike which helps increase my cadence. So the jury is still out on my race shoe.BTW: The speed version of this shoe, NB Pacer, is excellent. Light and fast. I use it for my tempo runs which last for up to 10 miles. For a super light shoe I have no discomfort. Very surprised!

Fantastic shoes
Little weight helped my long distance runs and put a bounce in my step

Getting Better
These are very firm and responsive, not as cushioned as the v1 but after running a couple times in them, you can feel that the stiffness is worth it still a little on the heavier side. I wish they would drop a little bit more weight and this would be the ultimate super trainer.

Way more narrow than the v2s
As a very wide footed runner, I'm tired of shoe companies making shoes narrower when they update models. I loved the v2s. I went through multiple pairs of them last year as they were the only carbon shoe that comfortably fit me and I wanted that extra kick for the long miles I was doing for both marathon and ultramarathon training. As soon as I saw the midsole style from the Supercomp Elites v2s on the Trainer v3s I knew I was in trouble. The Elites were narrower than the Trainer v2s and these follow that design. There's far less room around the balls of your feet both in terms of width and instep height. These pinched outer edge of my feet badly. I tried lacing them as loosely as possible, but I ran in them twice and 5 miles into each run my feet genuinely hurt.Add them to the pile of shoes just not made for me and my 4E width and high arches.

awesome
so comfortable! I bought these instead of the elite v4's because they were cheaper and supposedely more durable. I had Adidas Boost and Asics Nimbus before, and this shoe is a whole different thing. The most comfortable running shoe I've wore by far.I then bought the elite v4's for races, and they do seem to be "faster" (times have improved a bit) but overall I really really love these shoes and i keep on using them for training.they also seem quite durable!

New Balance
Beautiful, lite weight, very comfortable for a new shoe. I’ve been wearing New Balance sneakers for years, quality never changes. Highly recommend.
