AmazonBasics Mid Back Mesh Chair (Black)

Comfortable and reliable chair. Used it for 20 minutes so far.My first impressions are;Pros:1. Looks and feels durable. There's no creaking sounds. The castor wheels rotate smoothly. The locking mechanism feels solid.2. Self assembly is very easy. The instructions come in a booklet and are very easy to follow. I was able to assemble it in less than 45 minutes. All assembly can be done with just an allen key which is provided. All parts are labeled and named. There's no way one can get confused while assembling this.3. The seat cushion is wide and comfortable.4. Height adjustment works as advertized. No surprises there.5. Cushion is fairly good. Will be giving a full review once I use it for a few months.Cons:1. The arm rests are useless. They are too low to be of any use.2. I'm a little skeptical of the back mesh. Not sure how durable that is. A sharp object against it might tear it off. Something like a sharp finger nail would probably be sufficient. Need to be particularly careful with the mesh back.

This is the third time I am buying this chair. I had zero issues with the first two chairs but for this third one, the bottom cushion has gone flat and I can feel the hard wood under the cushion now. Needless to say this is very uncomfortable and causes pain in the bum when working for longer duration.Hence I can no longer recommend this chair. The cushion in the newer models is not of the same quality as it earlier was. Please avoid this as it will not last you very long as a flat seat in an office chair leaves it pretty much useless for working.I have now put a small cushion on top of this and then am sitting in it. Highly disappointed in the piece that I received.

It's a decent and sturdy chair, with some critical drawbacksPros-Has adjustable height-Backrest tilts and has adjustable tension-Backrest provides good support-The net at back and on the seat provides good ventilation in non ac environments-Wheels are smooth and sturdyCons -Seat padding is not thick and sinks in after long usage making the seat hard, this is the biggest drawback. I'm nt sure if this is a problem with my chair or a design issue.-Armrest is not adjustable so if your arms are long, it may be uncomfortable-The backrest movement is squeaking just after one month of usage, but could be fixed by oiling, I assume

Writing this after 13 months of usage as my daily work chair. Chair lasted me less than one year. Seat cushion has become hard in 6 months. The gas lift stopped working now after 1 year. Wobbling, creaking sounds from the base joint. I'm 86 kg weight. Not a daily driver. Not recommended for the price. Not a value for money product. Cheaper options available. No spares avaliable.

It was good for few days, but after 3 months usage can't sit on it any more. Middle of chair there is a screw and it hits when we sit on it.

I have no complaints about product quality. But dint realize it is made in china. I have stopped using made jn china products. Appreciate if you guys can add country of manufacture in product description

I wasted my money on this chair, so just don not want to waste time writing review in details.. Just look at the attached pic, within a week of use the cushion has completely become flat. (Very uncomfortable) better buy plastic chair from Neelkamal.DONT BUY

I would not recommend this product to people who use it for long hours. The seating cushion flattened out in just 12 days. I bought this for Work from home during COVID-19 situation. Do not ignore bad reviews and invest in a better chair.Pros:1) Comparatively Cheaper Mesh Chair.2) Easy to assemble3) The wheels are good and smooth as well.Cons:1) No finishing, the underside of the chair is stapled(usually done in cheap furniture) & no appropriate thing to cover it.2) Cheap Build Quality, Seat flattened out in 12 days.3) Only 10 days of return policy.4) No value for money.5) Hand Rest is not adjustable.6) Makes a weird noise when you lean back and the seat movement is locked.Take: You will experience back pain and discomfort if you sit on it for more than 2 hrs straight. I'm starting to experience tail bone pain and I think this chair is the reason, planning to get it repaired (under warranty) or return it.

I bought this chair not because I was on a budget but I wanted a "cheaper" quality chair so that I would get up from my computer table more often.I've only had this chair for a couple of days and it is extremely horrible. I don't know how it's an "Amazon, best seller"The cushion is not comfortable at all...I weigh only 130lbs and the cushion on the seat already can't support my weight. It feels completely flat and hard.I highly don't recommend this for comfort purposes...in comparison with other chairs on Amazon I give this a 1/10other noteseasy to assemblefulfills basic needs of sittingnot meant for long periods of sittingCushion loses cohesion right away

He comprado anteriormente algunos productos de AmazonBasics, pero me limitaba a comprar cables o baterías de esta marca. No pensé en realidad que la silla pudiera ser tan buena. Me ha sorprendido. Para ser una silla básica se ve y siente de mucho mejor calidad que las que venden en OfficeMax u OfficeDepot. La instalación fue muy fácil. La silla viene con todo lo requerido e incluso una bolsita con piezas extras en caso de que haya faltado algo. Se puede ajustar la altura y el nivel de tension para hacerla hacia atrás, ademas de dejarla fija o relajada. El precio esta bien, no es muy barata pero tampoco es muy cara lo cual se me hace ok. En general la recomiendo para los que buscan una silla de oficina básica y de buena calidad.

No complaints about anything on this simple chair. Good value for the price. Easy to assemble (I love how the different bolts and washers come in separately-labelled bags), and comfortable.Has the ability to adjust seat height and tilting on/off.Would buy again.

I purchased one of these chairs back in August of 2017 and it has been amazing, but the seat has gotten a little worn so I just ordered a new one (September 2019). I was SO DISAPPOINTED when I got it all put together-- it looks the same, but it is a cheap version that is literally too uncomfortable to sit in. The metals posts that support the back are shorter, the back now needs to be screwed on (the old version is permanently connected); the edging that goes around the back has been removed (and is sharp); the mesh is rougher; and the wheels dont fit flush to the base, which cause a wobble ( see photos ). I would have packaged it all up to return already, except that adjustable shaft is now stuck in the base and the chair -- I've had to call in a favor to have a second person come and help me pull it apart tomorrow. It is so disappointing on every level possible, and I'll definitely think twice before purchasing another piece of Amazon Basics furniture.

Worth 4.5 stars, yeah right! Those people love pain. I've never seen such a bad product recommanded by Amazon. This desk chair is so uncomfortable and this thing is not cheap. I lost my 90$ with taxes. I took the time to take pictures of how the chair look and feel, for you. The chair back is made of a kind of net (?) I hate this material. It is NOT kind on the back. I should have known a cushion would have been better. And the picture where I am sit. You can see the chair back doesn't go down all the way to the seat. There's no support for your lower back and trust me. This hurts. Try in stores chairs. You will regret it if you order it online and didn't try it at first. Each person their own opinions. I hated it.
