Q: Will 3/4 size strings work on 1/2 size bass?

Overall height difference in a 3/4 vs a 1/2 scale bass is about 5-6 inches. The strings would work as far as the length of the string... The Guage that you are used to may be the issue. If you have any idea of the Guage you currently have, compare that to the Guage that you are looking to buy. I've used light tension the last several changes, I've found them more durable. Mediums have a little better tone on my bass, but nothing that EQ can't correct, and the trade off for the durability when you are looking at a $200 set of strings is not worth a squeeze of a lemon to me.

Q: Will work for electric Baby Bass?

D'Addario Pizza a to should for you, I used them when played the Baby Bass. Also, you might like the Hybrids as well, depending on your doing preference. I currently use these strings on all of my upright acoustic basses !
