I used this just a little bit but i love the results, and the fact that is fordable is perfect because i travel a lot. Seems to be very well made, and it's a bit hard to mount, i mean you need to put some power into fixing the rods, but that makes it stay in perfect shape.

This is a lovely small soft box/beauty dish with wide application. Please note the accompanying photos. The unit comes with an internal diffuser panel, a face panel diffuser and can be used without either of these to serve as a beauty dish. Note the coverage of each, particularly the light distribution on the background. This unit would serve well in tight portraiture, as balance fill, still life, or product photography.One caveat: Assembly can be challenging, so don't plan on having a “collapsible” soft box which can be assemble/disassembled instantly. Leave it alone after you assemble it, and enjoy it!An over-arching benefit is Neewer's Customer Support, which simply couldn't be better: professional, courteous and responsive There was a minor problem with my initial order, and Neewer's Customer Support resolved the matter INSTANTLY to full satisfaction.

Durable made, has a central reflector that eliminates hotspot.Being a bowens mount, it's a tad heavier when used with an S Bracket.It's a great starter aoftbox.

Its small and compact, easy to toss in a bowens mount light case. Works well as a first layer of diffusion, then shoot through a flex fill or other diffusion to get a soft larger source.

I have been doing photography for over 50 years. This product gave me a soft light for close up head shots and reduced shine. I am pleased with the purchase. If I had to offer a concern I wonder how long the spines will hold up as they did bend a little. If given the choice, I would but it again.

Well, the price is right. No instructions to set up, nor is there a YouTube video to show you how. But once set up, it seems nice for the money. I'm sure it's not as nice as a Profoto, but it's not $200 either! I am not going to tear down each time. Just store it in a large plastic garage bag to keep it clean. Disassembly and re-assembly every time you use it doesn't seem like a good idea.
