The Dolphin DPS400 is a high quality 4 recess mounting sensor system that will cover the widest range of cars and give a professional finish. Included with the 4 recess sensors is a buzzer that bleeps with increasing frequency as you get closer to an obstacle. No need to stick with black or pay extra for colour. We offer a range of 32 coloured sensors to match most customers needs. These are coloured and baked on in factory conditions for a lasting finish and will not crack as can happen with retro spraying. The sensors should also withstand things like automatic car washes. For help choosing which colour is right for you see our ColourMatch Chart. Sensors require a 21mm hole (cutter supplied) and have a 25mm outerface living a 2mm overlap.

As with the other systems the Dolphin unit is activated when reverse gear is selected. When the vehicle is less than 1.5 metres from the obstruction the audible alert will emit intermittent bleeps. As the vehicle gets closer to the obstruction the frequency of the bleeps increases. At 30 centimetres from the obstruction the bleeps become a continuous solid tone, warning you that you should stop the car.

All of our kits now come with the new watertight swap socket feature based 6 inches from the sensor heads, it makes installation quicker and easier. Also should you ever have a problems with faulty sensors or accident damage in the future it facilitates easy replacement without having to remove the bumper again and rewire from scratch.

Our new adjustable brainbox means that you have full control over the detecting distance that your parking sensors have from your car. This is particularly useful for cars with low bumpers or bumpers that are angled at the ground.
