Neoprene Dumbbell Hand Weights Pair Home Exercise for Women Men Arm Pilates Dumbbells in 1kg 1.5kg 2kg 3kg 4kg 5kg 8kg 10kg Set

My use:I got these as my Physio recommended I start using some lighter weights above head height to train my shoulders following an injury. I was recommended to start off with 500g - 1kg.Quality:The dumbells are well made and feel nice in the hand. There's the odd pimple in the neoprene but it's not an issue.They have the weights printed on the neoprene ends and they are nice colours.Stand:You have to put together the stand which is 2 big bits of plastic with cuts outs where the weights fit. There are then 3 columns/braces and 7 good quality screws that just screw into the plastic into drilled small holes. There's no screwdriver supplied and it takes minutes if that.When it's put together it can easily support the weights - you can rock it back and forth a little but I doubt it would break on its own accord.You could lift it via the top brace but it isn't meant for that and could eventually break. The only other thing that may be helpful that isn't present is a handle for moving the unit but then it would require a heavier duty stand.I have seen a handle design on other sets but then you're paying a lot more £40+.Packaging:Comes in 1 big box and 3 separate smaller boxes and each weight in plastic bags (a little unnecessary maybe)?Fit:They fit in an adult hand ok. A little snug for very big handed guys maybe?Value:I looked at another set of 500g, 1kg, 1.5kg, 2kg Miramax in a plastic case with a handle being next cheapest at £30 plus £4 delivery but I decided against getting the 500g weights and save myself £10 when I can use bottles of water (if needed) which weigh around 500-600g.The same set as this but in different colours is up for £38 & £40 elsewhere on amazon so this price of £20 is a bargain.Summary:I don't think you can go wrong with these for the price, unless you have a problem with the colours.I'm a 30 something male and think they are nice. They really stand out.I've only had them a few days but I recommend them.There's not much that can go wrong with them.
