Q: Are these legal to use in New York City?

They will not pass an eletrical inspection ANYWHERE (especially NY!) unless they bear the UL logo. They claim to be UL approved in the advertising, but people who bought them said they are not marked--therefor not certified. The only reason to sell uncertified wiring products is because they won't pass safety tests! Wago are the only UL approved lever nuts I have found so far. Frankly, in critical applications like home wiring, you would be insane to use non-tested products just to save a few bucks. What is your family's life worth?
