Beautiful Quality Brushes - Also great for Oil Painting too!
Great Quality for fine line work, I know they say "watercolour brushes" but I use them for Oils and they are great for the fine detail or line work.I have sizes 000, 00, 0, 1, 2 & 3. and i am very happy with themI use them all for Oil painting and love using them along side my Escoda brushes.Highly recommended the don't shed hair and they hold their shape well even after may uses and washes (Even after Oil and Turpentine is used) and I am sure would be just as lovely for watercolorists too.

Excellent brushes for war gamers
Bought this and a number 1 for painting Warmachine/Warhammer models, what a difference they make. I'd been having trouble getting brushes to last more than a couple of weeks and sometimes only days (games workshop) and was recommended the series 7.The quality of my painting has improved significantly and i put this down to the excellent tips on these brushes and the flow of paint of them.Highly recommended, especially with some masters brush preserver to keep them in top shape.

Awful Quality
This brush just won't keep a point. Waste of money.

Used to paint WH40k, do recommend
Used to paint warhammer, Ill explain in those terms, I dont really know much about brushes but I am happy with it. Used to paint highlights and smallest details.Size wize could be used as a citadel standard brush, but the point is so good that I find I dont need a sharper brush than this (this is the sharpest brush ive ever used by far, beating citadel fine detail)Really, really should use this with 'Winsor and Newton Watercolour Blending Medium', it causes the drying time to be longer so I can actually paint the model without the paint drying in afew seconds

Beautiful brushes...when you get a good one!
First and foremost these W+N Series 7 brushes are things of beauty. When you get a good one they track miniature surfaces wonderfully. I often gasp at how well a decent W+N S7 tip manages to hold edges and follow miniature details without making any mistakes. They can take mediocre painting skills to the next level they are that good (me). However this is purely based on you receiving a GOOD W+N S7 brush. My first size 0 arrived and it seemed to work ok, but after only an hour painting the tip went blunt and stray bristles started to pop out. So it went back to Amazon. Amazon were amazing and sent a replacement the very next day. Sadly this brush had a poor tip right out of the packaging and no amount of paint or Masters brush cleaner would keep a tip on the thing. I did try it on a miniature but it was terrible. So back to Amazon it went.Amazon dropped the ball on this return and it took a week and a half to resolve a replacement (even though they received the return within 2 days). However Customer Services were amazing and sent me a replacement 24 hours after my moan. The third brush is stunning. Possibly the best W+N S7 I have ever seen. A stunningly sharp tip with a voluptuous belly and a beautiful snap.So buy these brushes...because they should be stunning. If yours is not return it until you receive a stunning brush. :)

Quality Brush; a delight to use.
Fantastic. Could not believe the difference between using this Sable brush and other synthetic brushes. The paint flows so much better and the point stays and does not become frayed as the synthetic brushes are prone to do.

Very nice for painting, well worth the cost
These brushes are famous for a reason, and they feel great in the hand with a shiny but non-slip handle coating. I use these for miniatures painting and the flow control of the paint from them is unrivalled. If you're looking to buy some for painting miniatures, the size 0 is probably the most useful, followed by a 000. A #2 is the largest brush you would use regularly (it is quite big compared to a plastic model).Highly worth the money!
