Update to previous review (Nice chair but...)
Update: My original review is listed below (rated 3), as you see, I've changed it to a 5 rating. To my surprise the company reached out to me and offered to replace the chair. In a world where customer support has all but been forgotten, I must admit that I thought it was a prank. It wasn't. They asked me to choose another chair and I did; it was slightly more expensive but was the only one that offered lumbar support. It was delivered quickly, and it is simply a great, comfortable chair. Oh, and did I mention all of this at no charge! Thank you Colamy Home for both the replacement chair and restoring my faith in customer service! Original chair review: This is a nice, sturdy chair. However, like most office chairs, this one too appears to be made for people with small behinds. Understand, the seat is absolutely plus-sized, however, if you have any "junk in the trunk" there is no back support. The curved more ergonomic design reeled me in, yet there is no way to adjust the backrest. Yes, there is a lumbar support which you can push up, however, it does nothing to allow for the natural curves of those of us who are...rounder. Which means that the seat actually ends up being too big and you are either forever trying to scooch back or end up sitting toward the front of the seat (which the instructions warn you against).

Love this chair
This chair has a very wide chair space with room to spare. The arm rests adjust. The seat has a lot of cushion and is very comfortable. It's a heavy chair so the quality in the build is there. It is easy to assemble but again the parts are heavy. It is height adjustable. The only thing is that the back portion of the chair doesn't hug your back. Perhaps because I am 5'4, my back doesn't really touch the back of the chair. However, the strong build of the chair allows me to still have good posture and place a pillow to cushion my back. Otherwise, the chair is great and I am loving the support. It glides on my wooden floors easily and smoothly without damaging the floors. Very comfy!

Good for 18+ months. Can be armless.
After trying a variety of chairs and a variety of gel/waffle/posture seat cushions, over a few years with continued discomfort during 10 hour work days, I decided to try again with this chair. I purchased it a little over 2 years ago. I was pretty satisfied. The seat was comfortable! Yes, it does have a feeling of leaning forward just a bit, which I have to push back various times during the day. Well since it's on castors, I get up to sit back. But anyway, the seat did not cause the pain to back, tailbone and thighs that I had been living with for too long. Also I decided to remove the arms. Honestly it's been too long ago to recall why, but I can tell you that the chair is sturdy and functions just fine without them, if you prefer not t o have arms on your chair. All that said I have found in the last couple/few months that the seat is losing its support and my pains are returned. So I may be in the market for another. I would consider this one well worth a try.

Sturdy and Comfy. I think I found my chair
I’ve been looking for a good office chair for years and have tried numerous chairs. Finally found one that I can sit in for long periods of time and maintain productivity.First, the pieces of the chair are heavy and appear solidly constructed. I feel confident about putting my weight on the chair and arm rests without worrying about breaking it.I’m 6’1”, about 330lbs and wear 2X-3X shirts. The arm rest positions do not inhibit manspreading for me. The cloth seat is much less cold in the winter time than my leather chair, the mesh back is also comfortable and the lumbar is firm. I need that. Also the arm rests. I hate arm rests on chairs and often keep them flipped up, but for my body, these are positioned perfectly and I use them. The chair has the tension control to control the recline, but is fairly standard.I changed the wheels to the inline skate wheels but I do that for all my office chairs so that’s not a deal breaker for me.I bought it on sale for about $150, but it is worth its price point at over $200 in my opinion. My other chairs are great, but I like sitting in this chair. I like it enough to write a review on it.

Comfortable, supportive, and sturdy
I am 5’4”, approx 330 lbs, and have a back injury that makes sitting upright for more than an hour at a time very uncomfortable. This chair is very sturdy and comfortable. The arms are set wide enough that I can sit without being pinched and the seat cushion is very thick. The back of the chair is supportive and all the materials seem like they’re good quality. Assembly was straightforward with clear instructions and all tools/hardware included. It would be nice to have a little more adjustability in the angle and height of the chair arms, but with all the other positive features, it’s not a major issue and the chair meets all my needs very well.
