Q: What are the measurements in American?

The length of the blade is 9.4". The length of the saw fully extended (unfolded) is 19.7" & folded is 10.6".

Q: What is the deal with the case? I thought it had a belt loop but if you wear it you can't open the top easily. Seems a waste

It can be opened while on a belt but the top of the case has a snap closure for safety so it doesn't accidentally open.

Q: Does the silky gomboy cut on the push and pull or just the pull?

This saw is also designed to cut on the pull stroke.
