If you want to use this stuff, be prepared with some disposable gloves, some material you don't mind it sticking to, and actually intend on using the roll once you've open up the package. It reacts with something in the air because only an hour had passed and it dried up even without applying any water to it. I tried getting it wet, but it didn't go back, which is good. Because this stuff is water proof, but it still has holes so it gets in.Apply a disposable sock, or bandage rap to whatever area you are applying the fiber glass to. Have this material be a little bit longer than the area.Treat it like a sponge whenever you put it in water, but be gentle with it. Soak up the water for about a minute, relieve the roll of it's excess water, and apply it to the area. Don't roll it too hard, because you'll want to get this stuff off with some strong and sharp scissors, or possibly a scalpel. But roll it enough to where the material will support the affected area.

It could be messy - need gloves. Gets warm, and then hardens perfectly. We used it to wrap a plaster cast to protect it from chipping and cracking

This stuff worked great for casting a broken leg on one of my goats. It sets fast and dries hard enough to be weight bearing.

This material is very different than plaster bandages. It seems a bit more tricky to activate as dipping the whole roll in a water bath doesn't seem to wet the whole roll. Clearly, I need more practice.The material does not "instantly" stick to itself or your project surface as plaster bandages do. Making it more challenging to keep pieces from not adhering to your project surface and multiple layers bonding together.It's also very porous. This may be advantageous to some, it was not to me and caused me some pain.It is something that has promise, however, realize you'll need to practice with this material much more than you do with plaster based products.
