This product is 100% as described. For the cost, it is 5/5 for material, strength, aesthetics. If it were $500, I’d rate it a 3 star. But it wasn’t.Instructions were a 4/5. It could have been a little more detailed to make it faster. Bonus that it is written humorously, but also a little annoying since it wasn’t super clear. For one step the screws didn’t go all the way in to be effective. But I don’t care because it’s still very strong without that little piece.Total build time at a leisure style was 1.25 hr. It could have been a half hour with two people. It’s pretty simple.Tips:- at the end to install the doors it is helpful to have a second set of hands to hold the door. I didn’t want to wait and managed it by myself.- my doors had a 1/2” gap at the end. Which I was very unhappy about. After taking a break, I used the last page of instructions that give tips if the doors aren’t positioned nicely. They worked. Now my doors are perfect. So do use those tips for the doors.- if you have any other issues, contact customer service. I purchased a table from Nathan James a year ago. There was damage to one main piece. They took care of it quickly and professionally. And even sent a card in the mail to apologize for the inconvenience. I was impressed and appreciative for their commitment to customer service. So now when I shop for furniture, I look at their products first. I trust them to resolve issues, if any.

This Nathan James Enloe accent cabinet is a great addition to my living room. The mix of rustic pine, white doors, and gold base gives it a lovely modern farmhouse look. It offers good storage space and feels sturdy as a freestanding piece. It was also relatively easy to assemble. Looks fantastic and is practical too!

I didn't want to spend 500$ for a wood chest at the entry way and this piece had pretty good reviews. Took me over 2 hours to put together but I am slow and methodical. Early in the assembly process I decided to use a drop or two of superior primate glue gel to the tip of each screw (and in dowel holes) as one of the screws was spinning and didn't exactly tighten into the MDF. There were a few step where having two people would have been nice but I was able to put it together alone. There is a step where you have to lower the mostly built unit into the bottom or top piece where several screws and dowels need to line up, and also for putting on the doors an extra pair of hands would be nice. I have a step stool where the step is at the exact same height as the bottom of the two doors and I used it to rest the bottom of the door on while I attached the hardware. I thought I had the doors perfectly aligned tightening only one of the eight screws per door as a pivot while I used the step to hold the door still while I tightened the other screws trying to keep the door in place to align. I thought (and I did) have them well aligned but after a few days they look slightly off. The top seemed to be a little loose while moving the cabinet but I think one of the cams is not fully tightened, now in place this is irrelevant mostly and not perceived. It's pretty good for medium density fiberboard (MDF) furniture I think I caught it on sale for about 180$. I can't complain too much for the price. I have put a spotlight on the few problems. Seem to be just fine, any reservations I have is probably not paying more for a solid hardwood piece. Sturdy, pretty solid and very nice looking. Nathan James Enloe cabinet: B+/A- Update the top was not secure because I did not properly tighten/close the cam a flat screw driver fixed that problem easily. The door seem to be getting a little more crooked, maybe it's my imagination, and maybe I wouldn't even notice it if the issue had not been brought to my attention in previous reviews before I bought the item. However, the cabinet doors operate just fine and without any problems. Hardly noticable especially if you aren't looking for it I suppose.

I was a bit hesitant to order this because particle board furniture can be a bit touch and go as far as quality. While it won't pass for wood, it is definitely better looking than the build yourself furniture from Ikea and other big box stores. The included hardware is also great quality.The directions are easy to follow and the accompanying diagrams are clear. I especially appreciated the extra directions on how to manipulate the hinges to best level out the doors. It took me about an hour and a half to complete this by myself.The herringbone pattern of the doors is more subtle than the Amazon picture makes it look, but it is still very nice looking. I appreciate that the metal base is offset from the main cabinet: it allows the main cabinet to be flush with the wall without hitting the baseboard.Overall, this product is worth the cost. I would purchase it again if I needed something similar and would choose this company again for other furniture products.

I was so happy to learn this furniture dealer distributes through Amazon. I ordered a set of 3 to make a media stand under my wall-mounted big screen TV. All three arrived in perfect condition. The instructions were super easy to follow and even included a trouble-shooting guide for leveling the cabinet doors, which I was able to use on another piece I already had! The furniture is so cheery and pretty as well as good quality. I'm incredibly pleased and would not hesitate to buy more from Nathan James.
