best decline incline bench
Im 6'1 and about 200 lbs and this is the second bench I purchased the first I felt like I was going to break it... so I purchased this one it is heavier than my first but this bench is not going anywhere when I move around and I can do decline flies and the dumbells are not near the floor and I don't feel like the bench is going to tip or break its heavy duty. and was simple to put together.

Decent for the money
This bench has been really decent for the money. I used it in my outdoor backyard home gym setup. It was easy to install, and good quality for the money, its sturdy. The bench has three positions: horizontal, mid way, and vertical. My one issue with it is that it needs one more position. When the back part is straight up, its too vertical for me. I prefer to have my bench back be just sligthly back from vertical with doing military presses, etc. I hope that makes sense. I knew this bench didnt have that option when I bought it, so its not a failure on the product. Its just somethat I learned once I had the bench as far as my preferences.I gave it a 4 star based on price. If you have bigger budget, always get the bench with the most back position options you can afford.

Budget Bench
The Good:- Price- adjustable seat position- adjustable back position- sturdy for bench pressesThe Bad:- padding is thin- only for bench press and bench press varieties- too high for people under 5' 5"- front legs get in the way and I'm over 6'1"This is a perfect bench for anyone starting out or on a budget. My wife had problems with the bench height and the front legs get in the way. The pads are not designed to support any weight unless you are centered on the bench. I would not do step ups on this bench.

Seems to be just fine.
Bought this after selling my Body Solid rack I wasn't using.I'll be using this with my Powerblock dumbbells.Assembly was fairly easy after I identified all the parts.Only issue was the plastic plugs that go into the padded foot tubes where too small.I just used Gorilla glue, glued them in, wrapped them up with masking tape, and let dry for a day. They stayed in just fine. For the price, this is a nice bench..

Objective review:
Well, the price was good. Was looking for an adjustable bench, both back and seat. Didn't think these things were too hard to make, and looked sturdy enough, so bought it. Great price. Here's the issue. The back pad is wood or plywood with foam and vinyl, and 4 captive nuts to bolt to the spine - solid enough. The spine is 2x4" or so rectangle hollow steel, with two flat plates welded at the top and bottom of the spine, drilled with mounting holes to attach the back pad.Problem is, the flat plates are not welded flush to the spine. The plates were not jigged flush - the angle of the mounting plate not flush with the spine, enough so that there is there is at least 2 mm of slag on the inside side of the weld (both plates, same side). This means that the back pad is off-angle when mounted. This can be a big deal when you are lifting weights - you can imagine bench pressing on an surface that is angled to one side. Try doing your max on a tilted surface - it's not good.Anyway, just my 2 cents having bought this. You could bend the brackets or shim them, I don't feel it's a good idea to risk it on your foundation when lifting - especially at heavier weights. There is a sticker on this bench that says "proudly made in China". I hate to cast dispersions, but make of it which you will. Some QC issues with the manufacturer going on.Caveat emptorThx,A

Nice bench for the money
Bought to do bench, incline, decline with my power rack. Works excellent for that. Not hard to assemble, easy to move around. Not sure the weight limit on it is, but I have used it with 350# and I weigh in at 200 and I felt safe. Not as heavy duty as some, but for $150 I didn't expect it to be.

Assembly Nightmare
Don't buy this unless you want to spend three hours assembling a zillion tiny pieces.

Sturdy bench
I researched workout benches for a couple months before I bought this one. I bought it to go with my Valor BD-7 power rack. It took me about 45 minutes to put it together and works great. It is the same color as the power rack which is pretty cool. I weigh 170 and bench 225 and it holds me and the weight with no problem. I don't really use it for decline, but the incline and flat positions work well.I read a review about it not being a good fit for someone that is 5'5 or shorter, I am 5'8 and it works good for me. I do think if you are over 5'10 it would be a little on the small size for you. All in all it is a good bench for the price.
