works great exactly what I neaded.
Worked great and had no issues. Was used as a replacement for a lost data cord so when the battery ran low the computer would shut off. Happy and would buy it again.

The cable feels solid and does the job! Comes with a resealable bag to put the cord back into if you are using it once, or wish to store other cables inside. Just be careful with the Ethernet port end that ties into the UPS. It doesn't have a rubber flex grommet to prevent shortages, near the port, if you are stretching the length and put a kink at the spot.

Save $$$ Works Great!
Needed a replacement cable for my APC battery back up unit and this cable from Startech saved me some $$$! Enough to buy a new card reader that I needed. Connected it from PC to APC unit and was up and running in moments.

this is a really good one.
This is a perfectly functional cable and works well, 100% of the time. I only gave it a medium review because it is in my opinion, a bit more pricy than I think it is worth at $15. You can get similar cables a lot cheaper than this. But if you really need this cable, this is a really good one.

Works for an APC NS-1080
Bought this cable to replace a lost one for an APC NS-1080. Much more affordable than buying the cable directly from the manufacturer. Works perfectly with Windows 10 power software, and also works with APC power software (if you choose to download that from them).

Works Perfectly!
My original cable seemed to be fraying near one of the connections and wasn't making contact between the battery and my PC. APC does not sell replacement cables and I wasn't in the market to just replace the entire unit. I found this on here and did not hesitate to purchase it and it works perfectly. It recognized everything and I can view/update the settings on my battery backup again.
