Q: Has anyone ever come across a dark brown ink color medium bold ink pen? I wish the manufactors would consider this.

I bought a variety pack of Pilot G-2 0.7 ballpoints in multiple colors which came with what I'd call a "dark khaki." That might suit your needs.
