What is the measurement of the medicated disc (not the cushion)? in inches, if possible.

A little bigger than a dime maybe 1/2 inch. This stuff is unbelievable I had a callus that was thick on the bottom of my foot I could hardly walk. It took 4 pads but after the 4th pad it just pealed off. I finally got rid of it after years.

This made my skin white and lift there is no callus and the callus area looks the same? What do i do to get rid of the white skin it looks so bad

White skin is probably dead patch of skin effected by the strong meds used to remove your callus. This is common across all brands of callus and corn remover pads similar in style and function and not limited to just this brand or just this one product. So exposing the pale skin to air and sun and in general the elements is one of the fastest ways. Depending on the tenderness of the patch of skin you need to toughen it up and if it dries out then gently rub it with a scratchy sponge or shower/bath scrubber and or brush that's not too scratchy as to cut into the skin. As soon as it's toughened up you might be able to use a soft file for callus and dry skin pedicures and or those electric callus sanding machines. Also as a few others discover sometimes going a softer approach works best as they have better luck with shea butter products or triple anti-biotic ointment or cream style applied several times a day. If you wear socks it should improve pretty fast if like me you wear sandals you'll want to see improvement fast. But the white skin is like your feet's been too long in the water is one way to think of it. Takes a few days to pink up and slough off any dead material or bits and get back to normal skin color. Time and helping it to toughen up is the best approach I've found. I'm not too fussy about my feet in sandals but many are so I get that. Maybe add a bit of make up if it really bothers you. Red light therapy might help some too. I like to let my feet get some sun but not too much and in a few days they are back to normal. I rarely need to treat a callus or corn and in fact I've only had two corns ever. I am having my second in over 15 years. But have had a few plantar warts they are called on bottom of feet. These work well for those too.

is the smaller patch supposed to go on the skin if so, why did it remove a thick piece of my skin?

The smaller patch with adhesive on one side is the medicated disc which contains the active ingredient to treat the callus. The larger light brown felt cushion is designed to go over the disc and help protect the area while the disc is doing the job of removing your callus. It sounds like your callus was removed. Often the attachment of the callus to the underlying skin is weakened and the thickened callus comes off in one piece. Do i have to change every time i shower or can i just leave on and will the patch continue to work?

This is what I do. I put one of the discs on with the pad over it and leave it for two days. You can shower with it. It will get wet and may come loose, but I blot it either with the towel or paper towel to dry it. After the second day -- so going into the third day, I take both the disc and pad off. I then put on another disc and pad. This is what will take the callus off -- one time won't do it. After you have had them on for another day or two take them off and carefully you will find the skin or callus start to come off. After I have done this twice, I just put the pad on one more time (not the disc any more). The skin or callus will come off on the pad so take it off carefully. I figure it's less painful and less expensive than going to the podiatrist. I have been doing this for many years and works really well. You just have to work with it. Hope that helps.
