Q: Is this product vegan? I see it says vegetarian so I’m wondering what’s in it that makes it not vegan. Thanks!

On their faq website which I also checked to double check if it was vegan Are all Alba Botanica® products vegan? All our products are vegan except for lip items which contain beeswax, Hawaiian Smoothing Sugar Cane Body Polish (which contains honey), and Unpetroleum Jelly (which contains beeswax).

I called the company and asked what the difference was between the one that said "mineral" in front of the bottle and the one that didn't. They said the difference was that the one that didn't say "mineral" contained avobenzone while the other didn't. So now I make sure I get the one that specifically says "mineral" in front of the bottle. Hope this helps.
