Yes, just inside the door, as per all tumble dryers. As it is a smart dryer, it informs you to clean the filter, prior to use.

Q: How long it takes to dry a full wash? Some comments scared me(about 3 hours?)

The countdown does start off at 3 hours but I haven’t really timed it to confirm as the timer adjusts itself depending on the humidity of the clothes inside the drum. We are definitely happy with ours.
