Stanley 84-027 6-Inch Bi-Material Diagonal Pliers

These Stanley 6 inch side cutters are pretty good for the price. They cut smaller wires, rubber hoses, chicken wire etc. and they cut good. I’ve used them to cut a lot of speaker wires and 10, 12 & 14 gauge wires. Anything larger than that I would go with a larger pair of side cutters. They are holding up and still cut good.

I bought these to use to cut artificial flower stems to fit into floral foam. I'm not a professional florist, but I needed to cut that thick plastic fower stem with wires in it to fit into foam for a cemetary vase and these did the job perfectly. These have worked great for that. I had already tried 2 wire cutters that I had that didn't work and I was very frustrated. I was about to get the tree trimmers out! I purchased these as an add-on item for prime members. The description refers to them as pliers, but they are more like wirecutters. When I saw that they were Stanleys, I felt like I was going to get a good and reliable product, and they are! They do the job and I don't need to try to cut & bend, then repeat that several times to get the stem to break off. Nor do I have to use 2 hands to cut through the stems. I bought these for my black and yellow home tool kit (I know, dumb to buy something for its color) and used it immediately to cut the plastic zip ties off the other 2 I bought for two car kits. Sharp bite and cuts like a wire cutter, great that they are actually a pliars as well. the handles are very comfortable and non slip...really impressed with them -

Too small. Need the larger one that have ordered in the past.

I frequently use these to cut the stems of artificial flowers with wire cores. They do a great job and cut clean, even through tough stem stock. Very well pleased.

It didn't cut any better than my old pair

Good budget set of side cutters. I use these everyday to cut coax cables. I received the cutters with the more yellow handles which I believe is the newer version than the one pictured.

Nice price, easy to grip handle, a nice plier that’s easier to hold and squeeze.
