This book is exactly what I was looking for in a daily devotional! Timeless and thought-provoking, one-page (with a month and day for each, if that helps) entries that make me think about what a relationship with God really means and what my actions should look like if I say that I have one. Each entry begins with a Bible verse. This edition has "updated language", as the originals were penned from 1911 to 1915 and the English language has changed over time. The cover of this book feels soft to the touch and the page edges are silver. There is an interesting introduction that details the very interesting lives of Oswald and Biddy Chambers. The end of this book contains a scripture index and a subject index.

This is a real surprise! I can’t put into words how many blessings I received through this devocional! Truly, the best devocional ever!

Exquisite writing. Requires deep thought and is an incredibly thought provoking in-depth spiritual awakening of what an almighty God can do. Read it. Ponder and dwell on these readings. 100% fully worth every penny.
