Did not hurt at all.
Very easy to use and did not hurt at all. The only thing I don’t like is that I can feel the tip rubbing against the other side of my nose, especially if I rub my nose. Is there any way to put something over that to keep it from hurting? Oh also, the gun didn’t push it all the way through. I had to push it through afterwards, which wasn’t a big deal, but I bled like a pig. 🤣

First time piercing
The piercing kit was really easy to use. I done my daughter's ears with no problem.

(UPDATE: 2023) I don't recommend.
Update: it's 2023 and I just found my old review I never updated. It turns out my piercings with this device migrated out of my nose, or down into the pierced hole within a day. I tried three times. I returned all 3 kits for a refund.People who have had long term success with this may have thinner nostrils than me or something. I think the stud was too short but I also put a longer piercing in it but my nose was extremely irritated. If I pierce my nose again I will do it with a needle or just pay a shop. Bursting through the tissue in your nostril instead of punching a neat hole could cause problems. If you've ever suffered through a cartilage piercing with a piercing gun you will probably understand why a hole is better than pushing your flesh aside and expecting it to stay put.Original review:Simple and to the point. Not many instructions in the package, so read the product page.I pierced my nose a bit high and my ring didnt go all the way through, but it almost did, so I've bought another kit, because I blame myself. I wonder how many reviews with this issue were caused by the purchaser placing the device too high on the nostril like I did.I didn't have any pain because I used an ice pack on my nose before I pierced it, and I didn't actually know the piercing HAD to go through the other side, but it started lifting up from the hole and I kept having to push it back down. I tried to push the piercing the rest of the way through my nostril. I frequently do my own piercings. I've done 12, so it's the same concept. Just push the sharp part through. But I couldn't because my nostril was too thick in that area and the piercing was too short. I could feel it inside my nose but I couldn't get it through. I just made myself sneeze repeatedly. LolThat's nother thing that should be considered for people having issues with home piercings. I have thicker, flatter nostrils than many models in piercing ads. After I try this product again I will update my review and post a picture if successful.

Good
**Heres a tip!!**After you pierce yourself. Take the stub out. Grind the point down with a nail grinder or power tool with a rough grit. Then use a polishing grit after to make it smooth. Shape the point into a ball to prevent the spike stabbing the opposite side of your nose causing multiple and horrendous nose bleeds!! This will also take off some of the length so the stud can sit more flush with your nose but still have the room for swelling if it happens. Be sure to rinse the stud in sterile saline (Neil Med) to make sure any fine metal particles are cleaned off before re-inserting. I found this tip necessary to post bc the quality of the stud is great and didnt want to waste the stud if I didnt have tooQuality of the jewelry is excellent. I have VERY sensitive skin and this stud never caused me any issues or turned my skin green. Metal never flaked and I still have the gem ❤️This stud is VERY, VERY sharp! It is longer to provide room for swelling but since my nose never swelled, its too long for my nose. If im not careful and accidentally bump my face, the inner spike stabs the other side of my nose on the inside (i use to do this when my nose was pierced on the other side. Doesn't really hurt, but you will bleed like a sob lol)I gave this 4 stars bc im not sure what happened. The device is great but idk if its bc I chickened out half way through and I messed up the process, or the spring wasnt strong enough to jam it all the way through my noseI ended up having to push the stud through my nose the rest of the way which was very difficult bc i didnt have enough strength in my hands to get it through. I did succeed after awhileFinal thoughts..... If you want to save money, definitely buy this. If you have sensitive skin, definitely buy thisThere was NO blood at all! When I got the other side pierced "professionally" I was bleeding like a water hose amd my nose became VERY infected. Swelled so bad that it made my nose stud disappear. It was bad. This device was a much better experience. Even though I had to push it the rest of the way through

Worked as advertised.....
For a do it yourself it was great, I read to not hesitate when doing it. Worked out perfectly, looks awesome, love it. The stud is sharp an a lil long, I've rubbed my nose a couple time's an all that hurt was the stud jabbing me. Would definitely recommend buying it. Way cheaper than 60.00 at a salon. I'm extremely happy
