Q: Does this meet the Scottish 2022 updated legislation as I notice it has three batteries rather than built in?

No, this does not meet the new Scottish legislation as these have replaceable batteries. You need to have a carbon monoxide alarmed with a sealed-in battery and we would suggest you purchase either the Kidde 10LLCO alarm or the Kidde 10LLDCO alarm which both have sealed-in battery and will last for the duration of the alarm. The battery is also covered as part of the 10 year warranty which is valid from the date of purchase.

85 decibels and this is also stated in the instruction manual
