I love these storage containers. I’ve had a set of these for about 10 years. They are still holding up well. l decided to get some more recently to eliminate plastic storage all together. The lids have a good seal. One of the cool features on this set is that you can press the lids down to eliminate excess air. I noticed that food lasts much longer in these than other containers because of that feature. I hope this helps!

I was looking for glass containers that are good quality, with lids that seal easily. I wanted to get away from plastic containers with the possibility of micro-plastics entering the body. An AI search led me to this brand, and I then found this set on Amazon - the 10-piece set (5 containers) with the green lids. Yes, they are heavier than plastic or cheap thin-glass because they are sturdy thicker glass - but the heaviness is not an issue for me at all. I was glad to find these. They look well made.

I have no clue how I didn't know that Anchor Hocking had made such a large soup storage container. I have been using the TruSeal storage system in my kitchen for over a decade, which has replaced all my Tupperware and old plastic resealable containers. The large 7 cup design is perfect for storage of just about any liquid, or as I learned recently, homemade tapioca pudding straight from the slow cooker. I also love that the blue color fits well with the other parts of this system and is the same amazing quality as other piece of the TruSeal system. As with other products in this set, it is leakproof, stackable for storage in the refrigerator, and is microwave/dishwasher safe.

Quality glass set at a terrific price. I have several other pieces from this line. I have replaced all of my containers with glass ones to avoid possible exposure to micro-plastics from "plastic" containers. They work perfectly in the microwave and for baking in the oven at 350-375 degrees.

Perfect size to store and freeze soups, stews, sauces. Trying to replace my leftover soup takeout containers that are not BPA free and probably releasing microplastics into our food as I write. Looks sturdy, good size, lid fits well. Will update once I freeze/ thaw my soup in it. ——— **** VERY POOR packing job, Amazon! It was tossed j to a larger box with two other items and a si glue sheet of packing paper. All three items were loose and moving around in the box upon shifting. This GLASS CONTAINER could have broken. Warehouse people and robots need to consider glass items need padding. Or product manufacturer should pack it in some eco- friendly packing material- not just a band of cardboard to hold the lid in place and provide directions. This is why I gave only four stars, not five. Weeks later and a few weeks in the freezer, thawed and cleaned. I love these enough to look at additional sizes. The True- seal system is great, but lid replacements aren’t offered for these True Seal lids. So take care of them- I hand wash- they say top rack dishwasher but I’m not recommending. I used Ai to learn that you can use plastic wrap under the lid to prevent staining. Just fill food to 1” from the top, press the wrap down close to the food, add lid and depress the center. Genuinely Airtight! Who knew?! I’d still give them 5 stars but for the shoddy packing Amazon does. Seriously? My second order of same container was packed as insufficiently as the first.

I hate shopping for food storage containers because they are all terrible, except for these! So glad I found them, huge fan of vintage anchor hocking and I had no idea they were still making things. The lid design is genius for managing air trapping with temperature differences, and just makes it easy to pull off vs a single flat piece of plastic. Great quality, good sizes, just wish they made more sizes.

LOVE these!! Bought 2 sets and just order a third. I like the way they stack in the freezer without falling over. Easy to clean. They are more expensive than some brands but I feel well worth it.

After years of buying-using-tossing cheap plastic storage containers, I decided to upgrade to quality glass versions. I bought a couple of small bowl containers and liked them so much I went for this bigger set. OK for the freezer, oven, microwave, and dishwasher, made of nice heavy glass with a one-piece lid that fits tight but is easy to remove. And it looks beautiful in the refrigerator or on the dining table! As for size: the big bowl can hold an entire cut-up melon, the medium bowl holds a bag of baby carrots or a container of strawberries, and the smallest is good for prepped foods like diced onions, peppers, etc. I also use these to quickly microwave side dishes for dinner: they hold enough food for several people, look pretty to pass around the table, and store any leftovers as well. I prefer this one-piece rubber lid to the "snap-on" style or the ones with a separate gasket; it's easier to open (and for lazy kids to close), and it's still airtight. I've had other Anchor Hocking glassware in the past, and the quality has always been consistently good. Yes, it seems a little pricey, but over the long haul it's worth the investment in my experience. I've already started buying the other sizes and shapes to slowly replace all my old containers. Eventually my refrigerator, freezer, and pantry might all look as beautiful as the modern homes I see in films and in magazines!

Excellent product

The quality of glass containers are good though there is a small defect (uneven edge) in one of the containers. I gave 5 stars for the excellent customer service from Amazon - immediate response to my request to replace the 1st set i received that was damaged. And I received my replacement set two days later. I do shop on other platforms but none gives me the same worry free shopping experience i have on Amazon! Thank you Amazon.

EDIT: I ordered more of this item and just like in other reviews they are not longer sending the lids that are advertised. They are not the TrueSeal lids. They are the flimsy plastic lids that are not water tight and break after a few uses. This is false advertising and a waste of time now that I have to send them back. These are my favourite anchor hocking food container type. Lids hold up
