Nice likeness, great collector's piece
Right off the bat you should know, if you haven't already learned, that this figure is more or less a statue. It CANNOT be posed in any way. There's no articulation anywhere, no movable joints in the elbows, waist, or even neck. The gun in Walter's right hand can NOT be removed. This figure is just that- a "figure". Don't expect it to participate in any "action". :) That said, the figure is very well done. The hat and glasses CAN be removed, as can the duffel bag full of cash or the packet of blue meth that comes with the figure. To my surprise the glasses stay on Walter's face with little effort, clinging to his head better than I thought they would. The hat isn't a tight fit but rests somewhat snugly in place. While these accessories are likely to fall off if the figure falls over, they don't seem to be going anywhere while stationary. Speaking of falling over, my figure doesn't appear to have much trouble standing whether gripping the money bag (which alters the balance a tiny bit) or not. The detail is fantastic. While I like displaying the character as full Heisenberg (it just looks better with the black jacket and gun), the work on Walter's face is so good that I'm often tempted to take the accessories off. The figure looks just like Bryan Cranston, the grooves of his face nicely laid in and the steely eyes looking pretty much straight ahead. The paint job is nice, though there's a bit of overlap where the hand meets the gun. Nothing that seriously detracts from the figure or anything that most people are likely to notice. There are many comments here on Amazon speaking of opened (and subsequently taped) packaging, indicating that the plastic had come loose from the card before the buyer received the figure. Whether this is a now-rectified situation or I just got a good seller I don't know, but Toynk Toys sent me a package that was fully intact and contained everything that it was supposed to. Overall this statue of Heisenberg is a bit pricey and generally non-functional, it's meant to be something that's proudly displayed on top of a shelf or maybe bookending your collection of Breaking Bad dvds. But as a unique collectible and special tribute to one of the greatest shows in the history of American television, I think it's a quality item and definitely worth the purchase.

Both myself and my wife are huge Breaking Bad fans, and we learned about the existence of these action figures when the whole silly "Florida mom" debacle broke out. A mixed blessing: on one hand, we might not have learned about this were it not for the situation, but on the other, it seems to have created quite some demand for these figures -- my wife loved the hazmat and drum figure when she saw it in a report... but who says I could find it. Prices are usually a bit high too, for certain models. So I settled for this one as a good close second. But I digress... The figure is really nice, very detailed. It feels well made, heavy, not some cheap plastic thing. As the photos show, the sun glasses and hat do come off -- careful not to lose them, specially the shades, they are quite small. Walter is able to hold the bag of money in his hand, but then he is unbalanced and can't stay up. Anyway, fun present for the BB fan in your life!

Mezco Toys Breaking Bad Heisenberg
This is Mezco's second Breaking Bad action figure (the first of which was Walter White in Hazmat suit from the episode "fly"). This figure is Walter White as his drug dealing alias "Heisenberg". People have said that this isn't an action figure because the waist and legs and arms aren't articulated, while that is a bummer, this still is an action figure. Heisenberg comes with a removable hat and sunglasses, a duffle bag full of cash, a bag of 99.8% of the pure blue crystal, and has a revolver sculpted into his right hand. Also, I really like the attention to detail Mezco displayed by really accenting Walter's wedding ring on his right hand. A small detail but a very important one, after all Heisenberg exists so Walter can provide for his family. While I can understand peoples valid complaints about the lack of articulation, it doesn't matter to me because I am keeping this figure blistered to its card. The card looks like the opening title for Breaking Bad on AMC with a green background and the Breaking Bad table of elements logo and a side profile shot of Bryan Cranston as Walter White in his Heisenberg outfit. The head sculpt looks good and pretty accurate to the source. As well as the style of clothing and the body sculpt, only the coloring is not source accurate. The jacket and pants are all black and the figure is wearing a maroon shirt, never once in the show does Heisenberg wear this outfit. Mezco should have made the pants Khaki and painted the shirt with a plaid design, but this is Mezco and they put their own style into the license's they tackle so this doesn't bother me much. Though I can see how it may bother collectors and purists. I am an action figure collector and I am hard pressed to find action figures based off of currently produced television shows for adults. The Walking Dead is the only other license that comes to mind. The packaging and sculpt are great, the figure comes with some awesome accessories and though the articulation is limited and the paint scheme is not source accurate, that's ok with me. The paint apps are great, no bleeding or missed spots, the hat and sunglasses fit great, the overall look for the figure is great and any fan of the show needs to get their hands on one of these before they are hard to find and jump in price. FULLY APPROVED.

All Hail The King!
Just received this figure today after purchasing it a couple days after the Breaking Bad finale. It was packaged well and, while some people may like to keep theirs in the box, I opened mine immediately. It feels good in your hand and seems very well made. One minor complaint is that the head/body proportions seem...off somehow. But I can get over that. The hat and glasses are removable, and the figure comes with a duffel bag of money and a baggie of blue meth. Fun. The gun you see in his right hand is not removable, just so you're aware. Some have mentioned the figure is difficult to stand up. Being unable to move the arms and legs probably doesn't make that easier. But I haven't had much trouble myself. However, it is easier if he's not holding the duffel bag. Still, I've made it work. Overall, the Walter White-Heisenberg figure looks cool and I am happy with the purchase. The $17.99 price is worth it. in my opinion, and seeing it up on my shelf takes a bit of the edge off missing the show. If you're looking for a cool piece of memorabilia from Breaking Bad, I would recommend this figure to you. All Hail the King!

SAY MY NAME
Awesome depiction of walt as Heisenberg, mine came in perfect condition and will not be opened, unless I were to get another. And ive read quite a few reviews with people saying that theres didnt come with the fake little bag of blue crystal. If they didnt open its right behind the sticker on bottom of package to the left, so I dont know why there saying it didnt come with it. Love the show and the figures are great they dont have articulation, but im not looking for that mines stating as is mint in box. Well worth the 19 bucks I spent im gunna have to get another to display out of package to put with my others. By the way toys r us, you guys are weak banned figures from being sold at you store.

Love It
Yet another great figure by Mezco Toys.... Amazing details and looks nice on your shelf... but please note that this is a still figure with no articulations so it doesn't move.... the gun is built in with the hand and can't be removed... you can only remove the glasses and the hat... you can remove or add the meth bag or the money bag, but the gun must stay at all time... one more thing I think mine came open from the bottom and taped back, but nothing was missing I guess, so if you really love Breaking Bad and figures just get it if you don't care about the box

Not Bad, Not Great
I'm trying to not let my inner Breaking Bad fanboy write this review. I got the figure itself for roughly the price Mezco asks on their website. For a while, this item was listed at $50 so I held off. My Amazon even shows MSRP at $130 so I don't really know what's up with that. If you can get it for under $20, it's about right. Still, the item is only average. The good aspects are the removable hat and sunglasses, which I guess let you choose whether he's Heisenberg or Walter that day. Still, the revolver can't be removed, so he's pretty much always Heisenberg. The figure is heavy and solid and has a nice texture. The bag of money is pretty cool and mine DID come with the bag of "blue", but you might contact the seller as most negative reviews say they didn't get that piece. Unfortunately, there are some problems that I have to dock stars for. The biggest issue is that it can't be posed. It's just a display item, not a toy. Since I kind of knew that before I bought it, it's not a big deal. What does bother me is the paint job. There is some bleeding on the hand and the gun (part of the gun is flesh colored) and the goatee isn't done precisely. The detail also isn't very vibrant. I have some cheaper poseable Doctor Who characters with MUCH more impressive face sculpts and paints. The bag of money is nice, but because the figure can't be posed, I can't actually have him hold it. When he does, he topples over. So the bag just has to sit next to him even though it was clearly designed to fit into his hand. Not sure what that's all about. Finally, the famous bag of blue meth looks more like a Ziploc baggie full of blue Kool-Aid. In the end, it's a good shelf piece and I'm certainly happy I bought it, but for $20 I would like a little more attention to detail. If you're a fan of the show, you'll still be happy to have this sitting on your desk menacing you from a few feet away.

Hail to the King!
Breaking Bad is one of, if not is, my favorite TV shows ever. So when I found this Heisenberg figure I knew I had to have it. I've read a lot of reviews on this product before I purchased it and seen all the issues previous buyers had with it. The box came open, there is no blue meth bag in the box, and the figure doesn't move. To me these were minor concerns as I was plaining on opening the box, the meth didn't make or break the figure, and it was going on a shelf in my man cave where I wasn't going to play with it and have my own drug war. To my suprise the box came unopen. It was completely sealed. (Which I quickly opened anyway!) As I am pulling the great Heisenberg out of the box I see that a small bag of blue meth and a duffle bag full of cash, his famous hat, and glasses came included. As stated early it wasn't the end of the world if the bag wasn't included but having it makes this even better to display. With the gun in one hand and a bag of the blue stuff in the other with a bag of cash sitting right next to him on the shelf makes Heisenberg look as powerful as ever! If you are looking to make stop capture movies or reenacting your favorite scenes I will tell you, you're in for a HUGE disappointment. His arms, legs, & head do not move. For me it wasn't the end of the world as he is a display piece for me and not a toy I plan to play with. All in all, if you are looking for this figure to be put on display in or out of the box you should not be disappointed. Everything came included, even items previous reviewers have said did not. If you are looking to actively play with this figure then you will be extremly disappointed as this figure has ZERO range of motion.
