got these for my tube fed .22s.. i have a pack of black capped loaders for my .22lr rounds and wanted the red ones for .22 shorts... rounds slide in easily. i can squeeze 22 rnds of shorts in with the last one sticking out a little bit but the cap keeps it in. and it beats loading one at a time and dropping them. caps fit securely but pop off with ease. comes with small end caps for the other end... probly so it doesnt slip out of your finger tips while loading. i recommend these

These tubes fit easily inside the magazine of my lever action .22 rifle and hold just the right amount of shells to fill the rifle magazine. Prior to buying these, I would spend a lot of time reloading, one shell at a time, into the shell cutout of the magazine. Now I load all 10 tubes with shells before going to the range. While at the range, it only takes about 2 seconds to insert the tube into the magazine tube and dump the 15 rounds. In addition to the normal red caps, I, especially, like the easy grab caps that are also included. Why didn't I get these way sooner??? Great product. Thank you.

I tested all 10 of of my speed load tubes for crimps or narrow spots. All are good! They came in a sturdy cardboard box, maybe due to complaints on Amazon about previously damaged shipments. I used one of those heavy duty camping/hunting twist ties to twist-bundle them tightly together. Individually, they have a little flex to them, but if you bundle them together, they are like the old stick proverb… they are strong and you shouldn’t have to worry about them breaking in your travel bag! This way, I don't think I need to bother making a PVC tube to keep them in. It will save space in my range bag! Yes, I might have been able to make a homemade alternative for a slightly less money but they wouldn’t have been as good. These tubes fit a .22 round perfectly, the tube fits perfectly inside the opening of the gun’s magazine tube just right, and the grip cap at the top of the tube is easy to use! They are well worth a couple of bucks each for something that looks and works better! They work well in my Henry, so I can keep them preloaded before going to the range and spend less time loading and more time shooting!

I recently received my speed feeding tube's. I purchased them for use with my henry 22mag with a magazine feed on the muzzle end. Each tube holds exactly 11rds of 22mag ammo which is the capacity of the magazine. I can reload in a matter of seconds which is great when paying for range time. The sealed end and extended grips make it a no brainer. For the money thus product will pay for itself with more range time and minimize dropping and loosing ammo.

These worked great. Fast reloads. Need something rigid to carry them in.

...but if you want to keep your Remington Nylon 66 running at CMP Rimfire Sporter, these things work great.

Ordered these for my new Henry Mare's Leg. (Lookin' at getting a Golden Boy too.) This is a neat tool for quickly loading your firearm, but unfortunately, I never got to use them. Amazon damaged them at the warehouse and sent them to me anyway so I had to return them. They're made of plastic. Not metal. Not polymer. Not carbon fiber. They're light. They're handy. They'll do the job they were intended to do. If they weren't plastic I would have had a difficult time cutting them down to match the Mare's Leg's ten round capacity. Don't abuse them, (like Amazon did), and they'll work well for you. I'd have no problem ordering some more and hopefully Amazon would be more careful with the merchandise. Take care of them and you'll get a lot of use out of them. I purchased a knife roll bag to store them in in order to keep them safe.
