Genuine Toyota Air Filter Avalon V6 2005-2011 Genuine Toyota New

I don't think there is really much to say here. The air filter works, it fits, its OEM, it not expensive. If you are unsure if you can change this filter and were thinking about taking it to a shop, don't. It's as simple as opening the air filter box under the hood, opening a couple of latches, removing the filter, replacing it with the new filter, closing the box, and re-latching it.

Perfect OE quality, perfect fit. I've used aftermarket filters from auto-parts stores and department stores and they never fit as good as the original Toyota filter. The flange seals on aftermarket filters are often inadequate and don't provide a good seal which is essential. With the Toyota filter, you can feel how good the seal is when you snap the air box closed - you can feel how tight the seal is.

Good replacement

although not produced in Japan, it does a good job of replacing the original air filter in my Scionxb, basically a 2.4L Toyota drivetrain, at a competitive price.

This was an exact replacement filter for my 2009 4 cyl. RAV-4. Easy to install, and works as it should.

The box has the marking of Toyota and it looks like a toyota part, but I'm guessing 90% its FAKE, I have a real toyota filter in the car that was dirty so I just used this knock off part, this part is missing the center divider and the seams are not the same quality, if is was a $9.00 part it would be ok, but to charge REAL OEM toyota prices for a knockoff is shamefull !!

Fit is perfect. It is a bit thicker than the old one I pulled out but experience wise, this is consistent with the ones I've purchased direct from the Toyota dealership. Good deal when on sale. Fit is better than the FRAM filter I had used in the past but if this was not on sale, I would have purchased the FRAM instead. Change it once a year. Though you may need to change it more frequently if you drive in dusty places. Pop it out every oil change interval and inspect it. You'll know to change it when you put it up against lighting and you can barely see light coming through the filter.
