Check your dryer all over!
If you take the time to remove the back panel of your dryer, it would be an idea to clean out the lint from all over. I would suggest that you remove the long section and clean that out as well the hose. It will take a little extra time, but it will help your dryer (hopefully).

I did it! Yay me!!!
So after we moved recently, our dryer decided it was not going to hear up at all. We live in a rural area with one appliance repair shop nearby. The quote to come look at the dryer was $75. I'm too broke for that... Went on YouTube and looked up videos on how to troubleshoot the problem. Bought a voltage tester at the local hardware store. (That thing still freaks me out, always afraid I will get zapped or blow something up!) I did manage to find a video that told me what to set the voltage meter at to check the parts. Took about 10 minutes to figure out that it was the dryer cycling thermostat. Only a couple screws and a couple wires to disconnect. Imagine my delight when I searched Amazon and found my needed part, under $10 w/free prime shipping! Two days later and about a minute after opening the package I had a working dryer again, thanks to YouTube and Amazon! Now, if I can find a video to help me troubleshoot my upright freezer that thinks it is a fridge, I will be set! (It won't get colder than 40°, no matter what we set it at.) But I am confident I will figure that out as well, hoping it will be as easy as this!

It WORKS on Frigidaire model FERB6600ESO too!
After troubleshooting my old electric dryer, Frigidaire model FERB6600ESO, purchased and installed this $7 low cost part in lieu of OEM available elsewhere for 9x Amazon-Parts Direct's price. The thermostat fit perfectly, fixed the problem and works well. Spade style electric terminals on this thermostat were oriented slightly differently (rotated clockwise 20) but wire leads fit no problem and works great. Received as promised in 2 days via Amazon Prime free shipping.

Check the VOLTAGE!!!
OK TO ANYONE HAVING AN ISSUE WITH THEIR DRYER TAKING FOREVER TO DRY CLOTHES!! There are TWO versions of this T-stat!! 120 volt and 240 volts This T-Stat has internal heater that compensates for your selector setting high temp or low temp Make sure you get the right voltage t-stat! I could of saved myself a lot of time and frustration had I known this sooner! Look at your wiring schematic it will tell you which voltage you need. Installed the wrong one first then got the right one now it quickly drys clothes!! All fixed!
