These are the coolest! I only ordered 1 initially to make sure we liked them... we loved them, so I have ordered 2 more and will continue to do more windows along. Installation is super easy. They totally block the sun. Customer service is ultra quick to respond and very helpful! I ordered my first one 1" longer because I was worried about being too short - there is no need to do that... just go with the exact measurements. I did have one problem with my window not being fully square, so as the 70" rolled down, it was sitting a bit crooked even though the top appeared level. I placed 2 nickels at the top on one side for spacers, and that fixed it. I will cram some black felt in there to fix the tiny light gap it made. I also haven't programmed with Alexa yet, but will do so when the other 2 come and let ya know how that goes. Highly recommend so far! 5 stars for me!

I am very satisfied with how these blinds turned out, they look fantastic and operate seamlessly. Installation was an easy process, although I do recommend upgrading the screws and anchors to something larger depending on the size of your blinds. I was not satisfied with the screws and anchors that came with the blinds so I used ones that were slightly heavier duty. However make sure that the screws have a flat head or else the round screw head will interfere with the blinds when mating them to the bracket. I chose fabric white blinds with a fabric white valence, pro-tip if you are installing these yourself and went with a lighter color of blinds, absolutely wear gloves when installing these as the fabric valence is incredibly easy to stain. I took my gloves off when adjusting the blinds on the bracket and ended up staining an area on the valence simply from having sweaty hands. Save yourself the stress and wear rubber gloves when installing these. Once they were up and adjusted I had a hard time finding the USB-C charge port, but it was hiding behind an orange plug that is applied before shipping, once that orange plug was pulled from the port a couple lights flashed, the remote paired automatically, and the blinds were good to go. Overall these blinds turned out perfectly, they look great, operate smoothly, and are very quiet. I also have to mention the extra gifts this company throws in, I had a good laugh when I opened the box to find a duck sleep mask, refrigerator magnet, tote bag, and stickers. These are the last things I would expect to find in a box of blinds but when I saw them they definitely made me laugh, I appreciate the thought of throwing that stuff in there!

These are wonderful. They were custom dimensions and had a very quick turnaround time and arrived much sooner than expected. It took me less than and hour to install 5 of them and it was so easy. They came beautifully packaged with extra brackets and screws and the instruction manuals were clear and easy to follow. They are not loud at all, even with 5 motors running at the same time. We had a local Budget Blinds place come and give us a quote for motorized shades and their price was $4000 and that was, in fact, not in our budget. I got these for $1400. Also, before I ordered I got their sample pack so I could see exactly what the colors were and it came next day. If you're on the fence, hop off of it and GET THESE SHADES!

The motorized shades have exceptional quality. They were very easy to install in my windows. Blocks out about 99% of the light except for little slivers on the edges. The motors aren’t loud but they definitely noticeable. I will definitely consider Yoolax again for my motorized shades needs!

I wasn't sure what to expect buying custom made blinds on Amazon, but these really exceeded my expectations. The fit is absolutely perfect, right to our specifications, and the entire assembly fits exactly as we expected in our recessed window area. (The amazon page for the product gives good measurement tips, and the manufacturer even reached out to us one more time via email before locking in the dimensions and creating the shades for us.) Installing the thing was a snap; the brackets that come with it are cleverly spring-loaded so once they've been screwed into place, it's relatively simple to push the shade in gently against the springs- and then the whole thing sort of locks into place. I was a little skeptical at first about the brackets' ability to hold the shades up, but after installation it all feels very solidly attached... the bracket system does work well and even gives the motor operation a tiny bit of spring cushioning. (I would not expect it to hold up to very heavy use - for example if my kids tried to do pull-ups on the shade - but I think that's fair.) The remote came pre-programmed so all we had to do was put them up, plug in the motor, add the remote battery, and boom it was working without any extra effort from us. (I did end up customizing the bottom-most extent of the shade and that was very simple to do, following the instructions that came with the kit.) The shades themselves do block most of the light with only minimal bleeding around the left/right/bottom edges where the shade does not touch the edge of the recessed window area. Very satisfied with the overall light blocking performance. One note to keep in mind: The optional solar panel needs a bit of extra room on the end that has the USB connection, because the USB sticks out from the side. I'm planning to purchase a right-angled USB adapter in order to make the solar panel fit correctly with the power cable attached in the place we were planning to use it. (EDIT after a couple weeks of use, I realized the solar panel does not charge the motor battery enough if it doesn't get direct sunlight, and switched back over to AC power.) Overall we're very pleased and satisfied with these shades and we're considering buying another set for another room!
