RAB Lighting VXCW Weatherproof Round Box, Aluminum, 1/2" Hole Size, 4" Diameter, White, NO Cover

This takes .5” threaded PVC conduit. I originally only had .75” threaded male to .5 smooth female on had from another outlet box thinking I’d be to go.

Used it to install my ring spotlight cam. Worked pretty well.

Good price and quality

This is a very solid box that will outlast me. The only issue with installation we had was that the detail of the box was such that you needed longer screws than provided with the LED light kit to attach it. We had longer screws here so was not an issue. Anyone considering such a box might want to just get this one instead of plastic as it already comes with all of the excess port plugs too. A windstorm will not be removing this from a building unless it takes the whole building.

Used as a junction box to hold ring security camera. Would recommend using for an outdoor camera as extra protection from weather.

The round electric box was used to add an outdoor light by our back porch. My husband attached it to the side of our back porch and then connected all the electric. He said it was easy to install. He added caulk around the perimeter and it works as intended.

Good weatherproof box. Had no issues.

Like-well constructed box. Dislike- screws/hardware/foam seal not included. Also no details of required screws for the junction box.
