Top Quality Performer In Action
Two words excessively misused are 'star' and 'legend', but not in the case of Connie Francis - she is both of these & more.This box-set is a terrific showcase of her talent, with many different styles and various languages, all delivered with that wonderful, distinctive voice. Ballads relating to love, parting, mother & father etc. are sung with such emotion that it is testament to the quality of her interpretations. The accompaniments, whether by combo, big band or full orchestra are first class.There are two tracks which seem to have slight recording issues ("My Melancholy Baby" & "Arriverdecci Roma"), but this is a VERY minor defect and should not detract from an excellent product - good sound, 239 tracks & some 11 hours entertainment.Miss Francis has had a life littered with tragedy and misfortune, all well documented, and she is obviously one tough lady. I sincerely hope this set sells really well. Buy with confidence.

Unbelievably FANTASTIC !!!!!
Unbelievable!!!!! This CD- Box is one of Connie Francis' very, very best!A box with 10 CD's, containing 19 of Connie's first LP- albums + many other Bonus Tracks of her Greatest Hits. Two LP's on each CD. The sound quality is perfect as well. Such an important box for a real low price!Let's hope that her other 7 LP- albums will soon be on CD's in a Box like this one. It would be a dream come true for all Connie Francis fans.

Not to be missed
An excellent compilation and a chance to sample Connie’s treatment of a very wide range of material at a keen price. A pity that one of the albums included is the live recording of Connie Francis at the Copa as the sound quality of this element is truly dreadful. It sounds as though the MGM sound engineers took the night off and left it to the work experience trainees. Otherwise the quality of source material and transfers are excellent, certainly something of a bargain and deserving of 5 stars despite the ‘Copa’.

Wonderfully clear recordings from a great singer.
This is a superb collection. The sound quality is like it was recorded yesterday. I absolutely love this box set by Connie Francis. She was a big star when I was growing up and I'd forgotten quite what a terrific voice she has and there are so many tracks I've never heard her sing before. Wonderful set and recommended to all listeners who like singers just to sing in a straight forward way without all the false warbling we get today.

A fabulous package of no less than 19 Connie albums
This is a fabulous package of no less than 19 Connie albums. The sound quality is excellent, and Connie's pure voice comes through perfectly. Even though I have almost all of the albums on vinyl, plus many also on cassette and/or CD, this collection of 10 CDs is simply wonderful - and what a good price for them.
