Bought for Grandma to use to read her books, so she can be hands free. Great little book holder

The on-board music stand on my electric piano didn't have restraints, so I couldn't use it for the A4 sheets I print off from online sources. I first bought a metal "lectern"-type stand - the same shape as this one. However, I realised that the surface of the electric piano was magnetic and I was concerned that putting a metal stand on top may cause wiping or interference with the electrics. I contacted the manufacturer, who agreed with my concern and suggested that I buy a plastic one. I like the feel of wooden things, so opted for this stand, and was very glad I did. It's sturdy, having arrived in a thick cardboard box without any other packaging. The edges are neatly finished - no roughness. The frame is about 1cm thick all round. The restraints can each be rotated 180 degrees, and they keep in place anything from a single sheet of A4 (aka B4), two sheets of A4 side by side, or a sheet of A4 placed in landscape position. When the restraints are both rotated inwards, the distance between them is 4cm.

All good but would be improved by a catch to fix the strut in place in the selected grove so you can pick it up and move it without having to set it up again

This was bought as a gift for an elderly reader. I already have one myself and its an excellent gadget. Well made, holds a variety of books, paperback and hard cover, allowing "hands free" reading. Pages are kept in place via 2 spring clips. Also useful when watching TV on a tablet, which can be propped up on the fold down ledge. Folds away for easy storage. Highly recommended.

Absolutely perfect for my requirements. Well built, much nicer than anything I have used before (plastic junk). I read the negative reviews, where people were complaining about "squeaky noise" etc. I am glad that I ignored those. * * * * * Five stars * * * * *

Very glad I have this as it lets me keep good posture while reading rather than facing downwards and ending up with a neck and head ache and bad posture.

I brought it to hold my recipe book up in the kitchen while cooking, and it has been excellent so far. I have even used it as a stand for my iPad. I really like how it is adjustable and can keep your book open. Thank you for the product

I chose this because it looks nice, so it's not surprising that it's rather heavy. But that means it's sturdy too, much better than the flimsy plastic one it replaced. It certainly does what it's supposed to, keeping pages firmly in place. I loosened the arms that hold the pages down to make it easier to use. I also put some duct tape along the lower edge to stop it scraping on the table. Overall it's very useful. I love to read while I'm eating lunch and it's perfect for this.

Sieht schön aus, steht gut, auch schwere Bücher halten gut darauf. Das Scharnier sieht nicht super hochwertig aus aber bisher hab ich null Probleme damit gehabt.

Se nota que la calidad del material es muy buena y tiene el tamaño perfecto. Adjunto fotos del artículo con un libro de tamaño estándar. En mi caso tuve que desapretar los tornillos un pelín para poder mover mejor las patillas ya que vienen muy duras. Recomiendo su compra.

Ich bin total zufrieden mit diesem Kochbuchständer aus unterschiedlichen Gründen. Erstens, es ist schön verarbeitet und praktisch im Design. Zweitens, es gibt Platz für ein Kochbuch, das ganz leicht befestigt werden kann. Drittens, es lässt sich leicht reinigen. Viertens, man kann den Winkel des Ständers leicht nachjustieren. Höchstens empfohlen!
