It's perfect if we're working out in the yard and our one year old can be outside with us. She loves to play in the tent and it keeps her out of the sun very well. We haven't tried it with putting water in the center yet. It's so easy to fold up and because it compacts down so well it takes up virtually no room in the car. I would definitely recommend if you're looking for something to keep your little one out of the sun but also want them outside with you!
