Best Combat boot I have ever had!
This boot is super light like a sneaker/tennis shoe but with great protection! Meets all the military Standards and doesn't look over the top like most Nike, Oakly, danner, Bates, and so on and so forth are getting to be! Its a Modest boot with extrodinary capability! The Price is unmatched as well! I paid $135 for a pair of Phoenix Gear boots with a Vibram sole and within 6 months there was a hole in the back of the heel (you have got to be kidding me) SMDH that is a lot of money to shell out for something that doesn't perform. These are super comforatble as well! I did a 12 mile ruck in them and only had on small blister on the top of my left big toe where the boot bends at the forend! In 6 years I have had 2 pairs and wear them every day at work and I have a deployment and I even have a few jumps on these boots and they are still kicking! I first saw these in a Surplus store outside of Ft Hood TX 2006 or 2007 for $69 (bought and loved) and they have since went up to $99 but I snagged these for $59 on sale here on Amazon! I can't stress enough how well rounded these Combat boots really are! Ditch all the expensive crap and go with what works, lasts, adhears to regs, is light, durable, and most importantly Comfortable!

These are some of the best combat boots I've found thus far.
Original S.W.A.T makes some of the most comfortable combat boots I've ever worn. After leaving the military in 2012 I discovered Original S.W.A.T working private security. putting my foot in those boots was like standing on a cloud. Maybe that is a bit of an exaggeration, but the point is, I've worn many brands of boots these are the best in my opinion. They are durable, comfortable, have great ankle support**, great traction. As far as cons go I have two. The first pair of boots I got had zippers on the side making it quick to put on but also while engaging in military style operations would unzip loosing that great ankle support** I mentioned earlier. Not to mention increasing the chance of your boots falling off in combat which is no good. If you're going to use these boots hard, then I'd suggest getting no zipper on your boots. Another con is it doesn't have a whole lot of ventilation, which doesn't bother me a whole lot, but if you got seriously sweaty feet then you might not find it so nice.

I like it because the heel didn't wear out inside like ...
I like it because the heel didn't wear out inside like every one of my department-issue 5.11 Tacticals have. The 5.11s are good for about 6 months, then the white plastic support in the heel becomes exposed from the fabric wearing away and rubs the heck out of your heel and causing blisters. I've been wearing these on duty since August of last year (it's May now) and the heel is still good.Unfortunately, I don't like having to lace up and unlace every time. That was the great feature of the 5.11s; lace up to the tightness level you like, double knot when you tie it up, and then use the zipper to take the boot off from there on out...nice and easy. Also, the Original SWAT are not even close to being water resistant, let alone water proof. If it's raining hard your feet are getting wet. I once stood in a few inches of water in my 5.11s directing traffic and my feet stayed dry.Overall, the 5.11 is a better design, just be ready to replace it after 6 months. These hold the edge in durability and long-term comfort.

Good boots, but...
When I first ordered these I did so in my size (8 1/2). Found out they were too small because I could not extend by big toe in either boot. Returned them and re-ordered in size 9, threw in some insoles and they fit nice now. I needed something with a more rigid sole than my older Magnums because I drive a patrol vehicle a lot and my right foot would get sore from sitting on the accelerator. These gave me better support and most of my foot pain has subsided. As to the sizing issue, maybe it was a fluke, but you may have to order a size up to avoid the big toe crimping I experienced.

Comfort Comfort Comfort
These boots feel a bit hot on my feet. The last pair aren't a hot and the first two pairs are much cooler and I still wear them all

These are the best boots I've purchased since a pair of Dunham Contractor ...
This is my second pair of these 6" boots after beating the hell out of my last pair(construction work). I wear a 12 normally and had to get an 11.5 to fit right. There was virtually no break in period and they made it through some rough work. I'm still keeping my old pair for demolition work, painting, etc. These are the best boots I've purchased since a pair of Dunham Contractor boots, but they discontinued those. These are just as nice, they better not discontinue these. Highly recommend.

Feels great
Finally I went back to Swat, they fit great, just to bad the soles squeek, but that's typical of SWAT.

Very Good and Durable Boot
I have been using this boot for 4 years without any damage or problem. It is a very comfortable and durable shoe. I have been riding Royal Enfield since then but still its material is the same as new and not tear off.

Poor Quality
Very poor quality. The sole has started coming out in both shoes after less than month of use. Never expected from the SWAT manufacturers. My sincere advice to the customers planning to buy these hoes Pl don't buy.

Good product, if they weren't used
returned these as they were broken in nicely, lol, and purchased them from OEM website, great boots no complaints.Would give the seller a second chance as they refunded with no hassle.
