Great game!

I originally bought this for my 1st grader but this is also something my 4th grader can play and learn from. They both liked picking their dinosaur and they liked that it was like a race. I really appreciate the different levels of math you can play, we will definitely get years of use with this !

Daughter loved this game

Great for learning place value and addition/subtraction.

Great learning game

We love this, except that it says dinosaur on the cards and one player is a mammoth. Some kids are very literal and wish all game pieces were actually dinosaurs. I also wish they had made the blue and purple pieces shades that are easier to distinguish. Dark blue and royal purple can get confusing when you have one of each piece to move around.

Good

Nice educational game, but the board is easily broken if folded up incorrectly, which children tend to do. The blue and purple dinosaurs look too similar in color. They should’ve made the colors red, yellow, green, and blue. Or maybe black instead of green or blue, since green and blue can look similar too, depending on the shade.

A Math Learning Treasure!

This is a very well thought out game that introduces place value, initially. It grows as your child’s knowledge grows. We started out with 1’s and 10’s place, and then added as my six year grandson master the concept of counting by 10’s easily by moving into the hundreds. Then, added the next level reaching the thousands. We then added the feature of saying the whole four digit number before beginning the moves. He loves to count out his dice to create battles with the dino figures, as well. Strategy! After this is all mastered, the next provided feature are the cards that introduce and practice multiplication! The longer we play this game, the more I appreciate the learning/teaching features. It is a great addition to his math mastery!

He loves it

This was a random buy and I kept it in the closet until my son finally asked to play with it. He’s almost six. He loves it because he is able to win every time. Makes him excited about math and he asks to play every day

Game play is great, cards are way too thin

The premise of the game is great for learning place value and my son enjoys it. We haven’t yet played the card game options because the cards are laughably thin and not durable whatsoever. I have laminated them so we will try those options soon, but they really should up the quality on the cards.

Fun game that teaches number sense.

My 6 year old loves this game. It's a great way to reinforce place values. She also is eager to read the game cards, so there's even some reading practice as well. The cards are a bit flimsy though. I brought them in to our local school supply store and had them laminated for a few bucks. I feel this game is well worth the price.
