Great stylish toaster
This was a replacement for the same toaster which had sadly broken. It’s a great toaster and is stylish. Looks great in my grey kitchen. Great value too compared to shops

Simple
Simple nice looking toaster.

Ok but needs too much pressure to catch
I’m a bit disappointed in this toaster. The catch for the bread is poor and often needs a harder push down than I would expect. Also it tips up unless I hold it down because of the pressure needed. Might have returned it if I hadn’t got the matching kettle

Is not sturdy
This looked good as a set with kettle and microwave but it has not stood up to usage. One side is not now working - the spring will not hold down the bread slices. Very soon after using the toasting electric elements are uneven and not working on some sides - resulting toast is patchy. Although it looks large and bulky the size of the sliced bread has to be small loaf.

Stylish toaster
Looks great with matching kettle. Easy to clean and toast bread even. It looks stylish and doesn’t take up too much room. It is lightweight and compact

Awful.
I can only imagine this was designed by someone who doesn't like toast, or perhaps someone who doesn't like people who eat toast. The slots are ridiculously shallow so even absolutely normal slices will have a good inch sticking out of the top and you'll need to keep turning them over. It is also the slowest toaster in history; I timed it at a bit over five minutes to get even a marginally acceptable level of brown, which means the bread is dried as well as toasted and horribly unpleasant to eat. It also toasts unevenly, so as well as turning each slice upside down to do the top, you need to turn it round the other way as well. It gets worryingly hot on top (unsurprisingly for the length of time it's running), and for such a swanky toaster the build quality isn't great - the little push down handles were just far enough off true to annoy me every time I looked at them. It will look good on yourworktop, though - which is all to the good because it's an annoyingly large piece of equipment.

Build quality is a bit ropey, a few minor niggles
I am going to be totally honest, I have a Swan Nordic Kettle and love it, but the toaster on this has a much more inferior build quality than my existing four slice toaster. Build Quality:-The metal inside that grabs the toast is thin, the metal on the sides is thin, the knobs and sliders are thin, but it does have one major advantage it actually toasts far quicker. My husband didn't like the previous one because it toasted slowly ... and because we have gone from a family of four to two, we no longer require such a chunky piece of kit on the worktop, so I am going to keep the old one as a spare, if you are careful with this it will last, but any teenagers pulling the slider to select the toast colour sharply might result in the item not lasting. Moving on to toasting stuff:- I like the styling, it toasts well, but the toast does not pop up can be very awkward if you are toasting something like Warbartons Bagel Thins, they also get caught on the prongs, didn't happen with the old one. This toaster will work best with ordinary bread, I had to cut the crust off top and bottom of a Morrison's Baked in House wholemeal loaf, so also bear that in mind, if you like the crusts! Will be keeping it, but really it's not as good as the old one, he's happy it toasts quickly, I am not as convinced. It does the job, but with a few niggles, really a toaster is such a simple gadget they should all do exactly the same thing, but they don't!

Extremely happy.......
Bought this toaster along with matching tea caddies and kettle and I couldn't be happier, the quality of this really stands out and it's nice to finally find a toaster that toasts consistently on both sides which many fail to do, they say that you get what you pay for and in this case it's 100% right, it's worth paying a little extra to get the quality and look that you get from this range, couldn't be happier with my purchase!!
