Best rubber ever seen now it is also available with hard spring sponge. I bought this rubber in Saudi Arabia for SR 250. I am using this on forehand and Donic Coppa Jo Gold at my back hand with Joola blade. This rubber is best to get service point because it has the most spin in the tenergy family.

I was a USATT rated player. My rating was 1998. I have been playing table tennis for 55 years. I started playing with Tenergy 05 in 2009 just about a year after it came out. At the time this was the best rubber I ever played with. I decided to try other tabletennis rubbers from the Tenergy family and I tried all of them. Then I started testing different. Rubbers and I tested about 75 different sheets of table tennis rubber from different manufacturers. I loved some. Some were very good somewhere too good for me and some were just not compatible with my playing style. I was a double winged looper now due to my age and disability I simply don't have the footwork to play like that. So I play close to the table strategically using placement spin and an all round style of play. I can still loop if I am in the right position, both forehand But that happens rarely now. A couple of months ago I came back to to Tenergy 05. It was like coming home again like seeing an old friend and feeling their embrace. Although my rating has dropped, my skills have actually improved due to disability. I have played with Dignics 09c, 05 And too many table tennis rubbers to mention here. Back in 2008 when it came out it was an offensive rubber. Nowadays, I've played with many rubbers that are faster. Others that had more spin more control but none that have the balance the exquisite balance between speed spin control and safety of Tenergy '05. Because of my extensive experience for me, the rubber is very easy to use. I consider it to be more of an all-around plus rubber. It excels at everything and has no weaknesses. The new sheets do not seem to have the same durability as the old ones back in the day. In spite of the price, these rubber sheets last a long time and in my opinion are well worth it. In my old age. I just wanted to use something that for me is familiar, easy and reliable. And Tenergy 05 delivers all that and more. Perhaps not the best rubber for beginners, it is great for intermediate advanced club players and even some professionals use that rubber to this very day with enough practice. It characteristics can be tamed and it will deliver reliable and consistent performance on any shot you want to perform. I cannot recommend this rubber highly enough.
