They’re easy to install and fit in well with my craftsman house. I was so impressed with them that I went back and ordered enough to replace all the old door plates in my house. It’s amazing what shiny new hardware and a coat of paint can do to freshen up a house. Note: the doorknob and door in the pic are from the 1920s/1930s. The new door plate blends in perfectly.

When you own a home of a certain age, these plates are indispensable for an upgrade or replacement of your mortise lock or the reverse side of your rim lock. They look great and are a great value!

Great product for my needs. Be aware this product comes with two plates in one package. I didn't know that so I overordered. No problems or scratches. Metal is durable and of good quality.

Product comes as a set (2 plates with screws). It's made of zinc with brass color plating. Since it's made of zinc (steel), it is guaranteed to rust over time if exposed to humidity. I suggest applying an anti-rust coating on the inside-plates before installation, and wax sealant on the surface that's exposed to regular use.

Refinished my 100 year old 5 panel door and needed a new plate to finish the job. This one was exactly the same size as the old one that was deeply tarnished. Looks sharp!
