20 gallon treatment
it does what it’s supposed to however one packet only treats 20 gallons so if you have a large tank, you need to buy multiple of these.

Don't use right away test tank water in bucket first
Not sure what happened added a bag to a small filter for a 2.5 gal tank that started with a PPM of 725 and next morning after 10 hours PPM jumped to 886 took bad out and did water change with distilled water to lower PPM to 560 and threw bag in bucket with removed water to see if it lowered the PPM in the bucket will update in a few days

Lowers hardness
We have rather hard water, and this has been a lifesave. It lowered the water hardness in my tank and my aquatic friends have thrive since we’ve added this to our filters
