Distance is lesser it goes only 800 metres approximately than you told and battery performance is low ... ... ..

I bought this torch believing their claim of 2500 meters. I have a collection of torches among which this is the worst one. similarly I have 2 other Chinese torches claiming 2000 & 2500 meters range. None of them goes even beyond 400 meters. I measured the Lux of this torch & it measures 28000. So with reference to lux when the throw is calculated it comes to 335 meters. I recently bought a Indian make torch 'Enlight' bya company 'Schaff'. It's Lux measures 94500. Though they claim 500 meters, it goes up to 700 meters easily.Please don't misguide the consumers by mentioning false specs.Planning to move consumer court. Can prove at any given point of time about the poor range of this torch theoretically & practically too.Never recommend to anybody.

Very poor thing .lighting range is very low.
