After moving to the Big Island of Hawaii it became clear I needed a chainsaw for removal of invasive bushes/trees. II also wanted an electric model that was not dependent on a battery. The fact that this item offers an extension pole for reaching higher up was what convinced me to give it a try. I've now used it many times, cutting trees up to 8 inches in diameter. The unit has enough power to do the job but is also light weight. I've used the extension piece a couple of times to reach higher up and it also works well. Although, it can take a fair amount of strength to support the saw when it's extended quite a bit. It has an automatic chain oil feature but be sure to purchase the oil ahead of time as they do NOT provide any with the unit. Overall, I'm very pleased with the performance of this saw and how easy it is to use.

I picked this up to handle some overgrown trees in the yard, and it has worked out great. The 2-in-1 convertible feature is the main selling point for me, being able to trim high branches with the pole and then quickly detach the saw to cut them up on the ground is super convenient. Since it is corded (120V), it has plenty of consistent power and cuts through 4-6 inch limbs like butter without bogging down. One thing to note: It can get a bit top-heavy when the pole is fully extended, so just take your time. Also, keep an eye on the bar oil level as it goes through it fairly quickly to keep the chain smooth. Overall, it’s a fantastic tool that saved me from having to climb a ladder.

I am using this on a 25cc Craftsman weedeater that takes universal attachments. The setup was slightly annoying because it was overly difficult to get the chain on the bar/gear. I read some reviews talking about this thing leaking a lot of bar oil, but it honestly does not leak any more than my 3 other full size real saws. Once set up this things been pretty awesome. I moved to a very overgrown property in southern Missouri and this thing has been a huge help with getting stuff cleaned up. My first test cut was on a low hanging walnut tree branch about 5" in diameter and it cut through like butter. I have so far successfully brought down walnut, oak, locust thorn and those cigar tree branches (whatever they're called) up to 7 or 8 inches in diameter with no issue.....other random brush is gone in seconds. Pop the cover every once in a while to check for debris and make sure to tighten the fresh chain every so often as they tend to stretch a bit. Only time I've bogged down while cutting is when i forgot to open the choke on my power head after getting started lol. I've used this quite a few times now since receiving and have had no problems. I can easily recommend this product to anyone needing a cost effective tool for trimming trees or even basic saw tasks around a home/property. Worth every penny so far.

I am very impressed with this electric convertible pole saw and chainsaw for it's price. It cuts very well. Although it's mostly plastic, it seems well built. Clever and simple design to go from pole saw to chainsaw and visa-versa. It is a little top heavy with the chainsaw mounted on top of the pole when extended, but manageable; would be nice to have a shoulder support strap. I live in a neighborhood with a home owners association that requires the home owner to trim their trees and branches away from streets for delivery vehicles 15-20 ft up and up from the yard ground for yard care riding lawn mower or get fined and penalized. And it's just better looking. It cost around $100 - $200 or more to have tree trimming done every time and they need trimming every month and a half to 2 months, sometimes more here in Florida except in the short winter months. So, if you're able and willing to use a pole saw and chainsaw, you can save a lot of money. And of course we get storms with high winds and hurricanes where branches need to be trimmed and cut up. This pole saw has worked very well to trim branches that are higher up and then remove the pole and use its chainsaw to chop up the branches into 4 ft or smaller pieces for local yard pick up. Two devices in one, very nice. I chose this electric corded pole saw and chainsaw because I didn't want to mess with gas and oil and their noise and most of the cordless electric pole saws and chainsaws currently have short runtimes like 15 minutes to half an hour before they need recharging which is not long enough for my tasks. Obviously, you must be careful with the long electrical cords, but otherwise this is a great tool. I did have to tighten the chain guard and chain a couple of times, and the chain came off twice due to my usage, but those tasks were quick and easy to do with this. I found it strange that the lubricating oil fill hole is on the side rather on top because it didn't show how much oil I was pouring in, so I overfilled it wasting some oil. When the saw is upright and in use it's easy to see how much oil is left or needed. Overall I highly recommend this.

Lightweight and adjustable ,very useful

My 70 year old mom loves it. It makes short work even of very thick branches (5 inches or so). It is light when using it without the extension or extension folded (not extended). With extension extended the comfort of work depends on your physical condition and coordination, but this piece of equipment is of course much lighter than gas analogs. No problems with chain on this one, just install it properly: read instructions (do not cut zip pie on the chain before reading), adjust chain tension (with provided silver tool, screw-in chain tensioner so that the chain does not have a lot of slack). For long-term reliability learn how to sharpen the chain with a file (see some instructional youtube videos on that). Overall, for the money, it is a great tool.

La motosierra tiene muy buena potencia y es fácil y segura de manejar. El bastón junto con la motosierra se vuelve un poco pesado en conjunto pero aún así se maneja con bastante seguridad. Excelente calidad del bastón y la motosierra. La recomiendo👌

This machine get the job done each time. the flexible head is also a plus. very light and easy to use. also has a solid and powerful motor. I would like to see a longer blade offered for this machine.
