Red Dead Redemption 2 with Collectible SteelBook (Exclusive to Amazon.co.uk) (PS4)

I can say at this point that the game has undoubtedly fulfilled its promise for years, this being one of the best releases in history, for lovers of action and the Rockstar games studio, it is undoubtedly a very good choice, the performance of the game is very well adequate for its graphic quality and its mechanics are undoubtedly its strongest point to take into account, I can only say that if you are looking for many hours of entertainment this is the perfect game since it has a single player and online mode where you can explore the wild west the way you want!

Easily one of the best games of all time. So much detail hours of fun you will never find everything in this game

A slow, long but great game - it's like another world. I love how these newer games are so cinematic with such high attention to detail and amazing graphics. I am playing this on a PS4 PRO with a 4K TV and it is truly breathtaking. That said, I actually think that the graphics on horizon zero dawn are marginally better (but Red Dead 2 offers better interaction with the environment). The gameplay is good, although a little slow to start - perhaps I am being inpatient, but I played for at least 45 mins and it still felt like I was in the tutorial section. Also, I have a confession to make, I haven't played Red Dead 1 nor have I played any GTA (not since it was 2d and birds eye view anyway) and the movement of the character feels a bit restrictive in comparison to Horizon Zero Dawn - perhaps this is common in GTA/Read Dead games? I am hoping that it is not too badly influenced by the planned micro transactions in game which seems to be slowly eating away at fairness in games and creating a 'pay to win' industry. Overall, happy with this purchase and it came with a free collectible Steelbook (was the same price as the version without) - but bizarrely, the whole package (game box, steelbook and packaging) absolutely reeked of cumin. Not sure why, but very odd.

Have now bought 3 of this game as all of my boys like the game but will not share - oldest said its not great but not willing to give it up, the other 2 boys said its great, and allows them to both play over internet together if they both have the same game. Only problem I have is once they on this game it takes over their life and they won't get off it without a big protest, so very absorbing, but stops the real life battles and fights between the boys the fights are restricted to the role play game. With this being set in old Wild West it would suit someone who prefers historical characters like Assassins Creed games, ARC and this.

One of the best games I have ever played. The story was so engrossing that my other half watched me play it in its entirety which was bliss. Worth the money just for the story mode. It was like watching one of the best westerns ever. The campaign was perfect and just long enough! The online is broken and not enjoyable. But don't buy it for that!!

Best game ever, good price well packaged 📦

The game was pretty decent. I do think the massive amounts of hype ruined the game for me as it didn't live up to those expectations personally. The map is absolutely stunning but the gameplay got a bit repetitive and stale. Story was pretty decent otherwise, although bits of it got really annoying. Would wait for it to drop in price before recommending, personally.
