The best bread knife I've ever owned. Just WOW!!! Super sharp, easy care and cuts bread like a hot knife thru butter. Worth the price. My neighbor introduced me to this bad girl by showing me how to make biscotti. You need a sharp knife to cut the baked dough at the end of the process. I immediately bought one. It works well with tomatoes, too.

I bought this for my young adult son but am constantly using it. It cuts beautifully. Sharp and with a long blade, it slices through even frozen bread like it's "butta". Excellent quality and value.

Legit. Not chinese garbage. Looks like it actually came from Japan. Came in a nice decorative gift box. I would buy again. Cuts well.

This is a very good knife to use on homemade sourdough bread. Possibly the best one on the market. It's worth the price.

Tojiro bread knife: Lightweight and deceptively sharp. Slices through a crust like butter with minimal effort – a real plus during a busy service. Easy to maneuver, doesn't tire out the wrist. For a bread knife, it's surprisingly nimble. Good value for the performance. Only issue is it doesn’t fit in a traditional knife holder due to its length.

Excellent bread knife. Stays sharp

I tested and tried cutting by sourdough bread with many knives before ending in a bunch of bread crumbs everywhere every time... But that's over with this one! It's just perfect! It's super light weight, sharp as hell!! I would not allow anybody to be close to me when I'm using it because is extremely sharp and that makes the cutting as simple as cutting butter, no crumbs anymore, I can cut the slices as thin as I want (something I could not do before with other knives) or as thick as I need always with perfect surface to spread the butter or cream cheese or whatever you want on top, the holes of the bread will look awesome and no waste of bread with this. It has a little curve on the blade that allows reaching the bottom of the bread easily with no complications like with straight blades. It's worth every penny, I'm very very satisfied with this!! Will look for more knife types of this same brand if available.

Absolutely amazing knife! I'm experienced knife user, mostly with made in japan knives. I just love hard japanese steel. I needed good bread knife and after reading tons of articles I ordered this piece of excellence. Knife arrived fast, in standard Tojiro package. What can I say? This is the first knife my wife loves! Usually, when new knife or sharpening stone comes by mail, she fuss about 'why again?' and so on. But with this knife she had an urge to show me how good this knife is :-) OOTB knife is pretty sharp. It glides through food. It is flexible but not too much. If you think that 270mm is too much - it isn't. It's just right size, After 4 months of use I even more love this great, great knife. My sincere recommendation!!!

It took six weeks to get to the UK and it was well worth the wait . I would recommend this knife to anyone . It's razor sharp and cuts bread with ease . I'm very impressed. And at this price it's an absolute bargain and 100% genuine . Edit I have had two of these knives over the years still have them both the initial price was far cheaper making this knife value for money . However with the constant price increase I’d probably look for another alternative good knife great edge retention but after extended use the blade becomes very flexible hence why I’ve had to buy more than one . I would buy another one just not at the current price even if it is now on prime
