I have to say
I was looking for a another caddy for my utensils I was surprised to see this Ikea cutlery caddy. The reason I was surprised is because I have this exact same cutlery caddy that I purchased 9 years ago, still looks good and its still standing the test of time. I will be one to say that this is an excellent product and highly recommend. I ordered one and about to order another.

for what it is, it's nice!
Nice design, sturdiness, size and finish. Reasonable price. Had it a couple weeks now using it to airdry flatware after doing dishes. No rust, still looking good. [Minor complaint: not a big deal, but it's bit "rattley" and cheap-sounding with knives and forks and spoons in it. Thicker metal would alter that, or I suppose I can add a "vibration damper" such as disk of 1/8"-1/4" plastic in the bottom.]

Camping/Bushcraft
I purchased after youtube hobo stove view, cut out 6 lower holes for wood feed on side and added 4ea. 5/16 S.S. bolts with lock washers and acorn nuts for small legs (acorn nuts wont tear holes in pack)(drilled out the 4 indentions on the bottom) this works great! fire is well fed starts easy due to more air flow from bottom I insert 2 steel skewer rods through top holes for container to rest on when boiling, or I can set my 5 inch cast iron skillet on top! my 38 oz. S.S. nalgene bottle, 750ml titanium ti-lite cup and cuttlery caddy all nest inside each other and fit in a outer medium alice pack pocket. works great!

Good materials and design
This is a sturdy container with plenty of holes for ventilation. Not as thick/heavy as those used in commercial kitchens (those that use stainless over plastic), but more than enough for home use. If you want to use it as a drying rack, you will want to drill drain holes in the bottom, and seal them against rust.Note:I bought this specifically to contain a small stick/twig fire for cooking and boiling water in the yard or while camping. I have only lit it once, but it was a very hot fire for the size, and it held up well. While it was hot I did not feel any extra flexing in the sides, so it's pretty sturdy.

I LIKE THE LOOK and fact that they can drain if items are wet
These are a great size, sturdy, nice looking, and good quality so doesn't seem like they'll rust (have had them about 8 months so far). The shipping said it'd take several weeks so I ended up finding some bigger containers at a .99 store that worked well...but once these arrived I liked them enough to keep them even though I didn't "need" them anymore. And 3 for under 20 bucks wasn't bad.

The piece is good quality and looks nice
The piece is good quality and looks nice, but it really needs to be taller in order to properly balance when it has the kitchen utensils in it.

Short but well made
these are short - about right to store forks / butterknives but not really for spatulas, whisks and tongs. I am using them for my emergency tealight heaters (using these sitting on a terra-cotta saucer and having couple of terra-cotta pots sitting on top - look it up) - they work brilliantly for this purpose.
