These are great for grading papers

I love paper mate flair pens. They are so smooth to write with, doesn't smear on regular paper, great vibrant Kelly green color, and doesn't need time to dry. It will smear on plastic, but you need a perm. pen to write on plastic. Schools and I approve. I buy 12+ boxes of blue and black all the time, but I got the green to be a part of a gift for a teacher. I thought 12 was too many for the gift so I kept a few and I am not mad about it. Happy Flair Purchase.

Reliable classic

When I need a change from my favorite red, green fills the bill. Flair pens are my go-to for Sudoku, crossword puzzles, calendar updating, notes to self. And you can never find green in a bunch. I always had to buy multiple packages with one green one, one red one, and a whole bunch of colors I didn't use. The price was right. The color was right. My only quibble is that these seemed a little dry and don't last as long. The color is a little less vibrant than it used to be--because it is dry or because the formula has changed? Who knows. Still, I was able to buy a dozen, all of which I will use, instead of throwing away or giving away all those colors I don't use. That's a bargain in my books!

I love the Flair green felt tip pens for marking the quilting lines of quilts. I use them to also mark match points on garment sewing projects. The green is plenty dark enough to see easy, especially on medium-dark colors where a white chalk mark might be difficult. The best thing is that the green ink washes out completely. Be sure to test on your own project fabric, to ensure it will wash out. Over the past ten years, I have not had any problems with it. The price here is excellent and with Amazon Prime membership, I got free shipping. This means I paid around 50% less than if I ordered it from a large national chain big-box office supply store and paid their horrendous shipping on top of their horrendous price. Amazon saved me a fortune!
