is it OK to re~use the JFM hair dye after I opened and mixed the two bottles two weeks later?? I only needed a third of the bottle when i first opened

I take half of each bottle and mix together in a small Tupperware container where I can mix them up and use on my hair. I put the caps back on both of the half used plastic bottles. I then save them for the next time I need to color my hair. That way I get 2 uses out of it. As long as you don’t mix all of it together at once, it can be used again.

What is the expiration date?

There is no expiration date on package. There is a toll free # 800 431 2610 for info. I have used this product for 20 years and love it. Just because I'm 75 does not mean I have to look it!

How many boxes are in this deal? Just one?

This is the box I used for years. I can't find it in Sandy Blond anywhere in stores or on-line. So I've switched to the new formula in the white box. It's Sandy Blond and works just as well. The only problem is that they give you a lot less product now. It costs about the same: <$10/box. If somebody is charging a lot more for a box of the old product, they're gouging. I'd give up on the old product and go with the new Sandy Blond in the white box.

All of their colors go golden DARK DARK DARK. That's why so many reviews (me too) say head to shower as soon as you get it on hair - 5 mins may be too long. =DARK. I prefer cool tone (dark blond) and came out golden medium dark brown. I was also shocked to see more peroxide in formula now too - so when dye wore off - all hair was bleached/brassy. Not happy. First two times I used (3 yrs ago) I had no bleaching result. I have two boxes going to the the thrift store soon.
